 1 Live Lounge Allstars - Times Like These

Surprised this has actually managed to overcome the massive lead Captain Tom had on everyone. I haven't been watching the programme intensely but it seems like You'll Never Walk Alone hasn't featured so far tonight. It shows what would/could happen if it was used on TV tonight.

The original version of Times Like These by Foo Fighters is now up to #6!!!

Looks like we're not getting You'll Never Walk Alone then!

Other songs that we got were:

Celeste - Lean On Me

Tony Christie & Peter Kay - (Is This The Way To) Amarillo

Gary Barlow - Sing

The song wasn't played but Captain Tom was mentioned and Zoe Ball said he could be #1 so it's better than no exposure at all!

And the Foo Fighters GH album Number 1 in the iTunes albums

Wow at Live Lounge Allstars managing to hit #1 even with the enormous lead Michael & Tom had before. Probably shifted enough copies today to at least be top 100 this week then?

Of course its primary purpose is to make money for charity but it just seems like they might as well have waited another day (not even that, more like another 12 hours) to release it to give it the best chance to chart highly in the chart show on their own network, putting it on pre-order instead for when The Big Night In aired probably wouldn't have lost it many sales!

Wow, even Thank You Baked Potato is back at #21 now!
Hopefully Live Lounge Allstars will appear in the Top 100 tomorrow and to be honest from a chart perspective I wish they had released it at midnight but from a fund raising point of view they were right to release it today otherwise everyone would have just downloaded the Foo Fighters version and not bothered to get the R1 one tomorrow.

The Weeknd king of 2020

It’s nice to see him do that. I’m howling at that tweet written as if it’s come from Captain Tom though

Yeah they definitely could have waited 12 hours. But in any case, they're gonna be hammering it on R1 next week plus all the artists involved will probably be promoting it like crazy on their social media so I actually think it has a strong chance of charting quite high next week.
