I've lost track. But eh, I guess they're all making lots of money for a good cause. I imagine there's so many more than usual due to the artists not having much to do whilst in quarantine so have the equipment to partake in their job and get do some good right from the comfort of their home.

With so many charity songs its hard for them all to stand out and make alot of money at the one time.

Huge - plus Radio 2 backing etc., I think it will get promo from the media all throughout the week too.

BBC breakfast are framing it as a potential #1 to celebrate Captain Tom's 100th birthday, I think that would spur on a lot of sales.

Didn't realise that Tom Moore was that guy (I didn't recognise the name but after Googling it I remember reading about his fundraiser) - iconic that the top 2 on iTunes both have a person at least 99 years old on them *_*

 

Also wow the lead really is massive, #2 was at like 0.43 last time I checked which was already pretty big but now it's down to just under 0.1, with the highest non charity song being at 0.07 - this seems to be the one charity single people are really latching onto, could be a real contender for #1 if it holds up.

It would certainly be quite a special #1! And would make Tom Moore the oldest person to get a #1 single by quite a way.

I'd like to see it go number 1 and think it may do it now he associated with it. He really is an inspiration.

Tom Moore is doing for Michael Ball what Lil Nas X did for Billy Ray Cyrus :king:

 

(and indeed has done for the world what little others have done)

Michael Ball/Tom are doing surprisingly well on Apple Music, up to #303 there.

I think it will really pull ahead today and tomorrow, might slow after that.
