Judging by my top 50 countdown I did... BUS would be straight into the top 20 I think, borderline top 10. I LOVE it. Wings didn't even make my top 50 iirc. </3 Just missed out :(

I think I prefer BUS to Wings nowadays however Wings just hasn't aged as well and it was a brilliant debut single imo! Break Up is a little more faceless compared to the other lead singles which have stood out well.

Iconic bunch tbh. The only one I don't revisit from time to time is 'Wings'.

Move is my favourite because it's full of hooks and was such a brave choice of single for a girl group on their second album. It's genuinely nothing like anything else and I feel if this was released after their imperial phase it would have been much bigger. I'm sad it's been cut from their setlists.

 

Woman Like Me is my least favourite. I just don't understand why so much effort was put into snatching it from Jess Glynne. Like, the girls hadn't released anything since summer 2017 and they were writing tons and working with so many producers and yet their label decided to take a demo from Jess Glynne that she wanted for HER album? She clearly was pissed about it, the girls didn't seem to love the song that much (all they did was rave about Strip) and yet there was clearly such an effort behind the scenes to snatch the song. Not only that but none of them sound good on it (Leigh and Jesy really struggle with the verses and Perrie sounds so strained on the chorus), there's no harmonies, it's not fast enough for a proper routine and it's not slow enough for anyone to show off their vocals, the drop is weak and Nicki's rap is too long.

Move is their biggest grower for me! At the time it was released I didn’t get it that much but it’s a solid track it may even move up tbh. Black Magic is my peak LM song in general tbh.

 

I like them all except Woman Like Me.

 

Move is the most current sounding of them all though.

I remember hearing Wings and being so underwhelmed at the time, and so that’s dead last. I love the top three, but Break Up Song doesn’t hit me like I wanted it to!
