I actually think it's great — it's the first single since 'Never Really Over' that sounds like it belongs on the same album.

She's not reinventing the wheel with this, but she is making effortless and confident pop that sounds like a mature take on Teenage Dream. It just feels right both for her and the current situation we're all in.

I’m liking this!

It’s natural sounding. I can’t see it doing that much but this definitely the sound I like more from her as opposed to her huge hits like Roar and Firework.

If she’s treating this as her albums lead then I feel like the rest of the album will be more of a laidback affair. Vocally she sounds like she’s actually improving as well pregnancy is treating her voice GOOD!

It's nice, but it's not something I'll feel compelled to return to.

This is my stance too. Very Prism era album track, but I do like that vibe so I'm not hating. It's pleasant but not something I can see myself loving a whole deal.

I haven't listened to this... yet, I've got lots of new music to catch up on so my headphones are going on soon

I've seen clips of the video and it looks good, I much prefer the simpler music videos and Katy looks incredible. Also loving the new merch, and gutted the signed vinyls have sold out already

I'll come back later after my first listen :P

It's nice enough, not sure I'll bother or come back to it much tbh

Ok first listen (and full watch of the video).... love it!

Not sure if it'll be one of my favourite ever tracks from Katy, but if the rest of the album sounds like this I'll be happy

I love this. It's exactly what I kind of expected from her at this point in her career. I'm with Rob in that this is definitely the step she's taken into doing a Kelly and just releasing what she wants to release, with a natural and mature feel to it all. I love the chorus. It doesn't explode as much as people expect, but I still think there's power behind it's subtlety. Stunning.

Is it a hit? Nah. But that's OK.

Aww, I really like this. I agree with the 'Don't Leave Me Alone' comparisons. I always inexplicably liked that in all its basic glory (and in spite of Anne Marie).

It's nowhere near the heights of 'Never Really Over' or even '365', but it's a return to form after 'Small Talk'.

(Also, the third 'DAISES' is hilarious and so infectious).

daisies

Daisies

DAAAAAAAIIISEHHHHHHHHHHHHHSS

I really like it! Better than her last few singles by a mile.

The verses remind me of David Guetta's 'Don't Leave Me Alone'.

Yes and it also reminds me a bit of Halsey's You Should be Sad in style in parts as well especially with the use of acoustic guitar. I like the daisies...daisies, DAISIES! bit.

YES! Was wondering why that song was stuck in my head all day after listening to this lol.

Anyway, I'm loving Daisies

I do like it... much better then the previous 2 singles.

I do think they’ve missed a trick though.. would have loved it to have kept building and building throughout the song
