Just watched all 4 eps of this. I wasn't that excited initially... Brooke Lynn Hytes I found a bit of a personality vacuum in Series 11. But she's actually good in the judging role. I don't mind Jeffrey, although I wish he wasn't channelling Ru the whole time.

 

Did anyone catch Jimbo's face of fish when

Ilona

was told she was staying - proper :o in the background

 

Overall I'm enjoying this, although some of the Queens do seem a little basic when it comes to the runways.

 

Loving Priyanka, Kiara and Lemon. Also, I know BOA is a hot mess, she is a fun personality though. I was liking Jimbo too, but she seems to be running out of steam rapidly

This is getting better (I enjoyed the third episode), but I still think the judging panel is all wrong. Some of their critiques are harsh (harsher than the US and UK versions) which I don't mind as long as they are SPOT ON, which they aren't. Their taste levels are definitely questionable whereas I generally agree with Ru and Michelle.

Up early for work and couldn't help but watch Snatch Game before I leave, best one in AGES!! Jimbo and Lemon killed it, the latter was so so funny and grabbed my focus even in background bits when she kept fidgeting about :rofl: Scarlett and Rita were spot on too, Ilona was pretty funny and definitely gave it a good shot! BOA wasn't *that*bad in terms of character it just wasn't funny. Kiara gave possibly one of the worst ever?? Not a HINT of Mariah other than the Christmas outfit :lol:

THAT LIPSYNC!!! The best season ever for lipsyncs maybe? I’ve enjoyed every single one a LOT. Absolutely Not wasn’t incredible but was still really good!

Best Episode so far! omg that was amazing

 

The lipsync had me shook, definitely right winner and was it extended?? It felt longer than usual, what a song choice and What A performance!!

 

Ilona was an absolute pain in the ass the whole episode and I'm completely over her. Also the favouritism towards BOA, can that stop like 3 weeks ago please?

 

Jimbo was FABULOUS though & I'd love this performance to be the start of a run towards the crown :D Rita Baga was decent too & Lemon is now giving me Adore Delano if she could just pull her finger out and put a corset on!

All the lipsyncs this series have been extended- I think it a great idea as it lets queens really build up to the peak in the song

Lemon's Snatch Game is possibly already like... top 5 all time for me? Just hilarious. Totally get why Jimbo won as she ate Lemon up on the runway and her Joan was amazing too, but lowkey Lemon should have 3 out of 5 wins so far :lol: I'd also have put Scarlett top over Rita, but both were great. Is it just me who feels like they are putting too much stock into runways? Of course you have to turn a look as well, but I'm getting fed up of Jeffery acting like it's the be all and end all and always tearing down Lemon over it.

 

I think BOA should have gone way more OTT for Gypsy honestly, she seems to be getting heat for even choosing the character (she apologised on Twitter) but I think it would have been hysterical if she just went crazy but then that's just my dark humour. I don't think she was bad enough to be bottom 2 over Priyanka's dead on arrival Miss Cleo and Kiara's beyond woeful Mariah though, she at least TRIED to be Gypsy. I just think it would have been hilarious and so up my alley if she really hammed it up, I get why she was hesitant to go there but it's one of those cases where if you aren't prepared to go there, you shouldn't do the character.

 

That lipsync was the best in a while, since Brooke/Yvie's Sorry Not Sorry I'd say in terms of both absolutely bringing it, really should've been a double shantay tbh! Perfect song choice and they both absolutely lived it! Not Priyanka being potentially another winner who bombs Snatch Game though, I feel it's her, Rita or Jimbo at this point.

 

 

I am really loving this series now it's settled in, this episode and Not Sorry Aboot It were both among the best Drag Race episodes in years. I love everyone left in the cast in their own ways too, such a strong cast. Ilona and BOA are surely the next two out though, especially with an acting challenge next which I feel like the others can easily smash, I think time is up for one or the other and they are definitely the weak links compared to the others.

From the preview and Jeffrey saying like “Someone finally showed up” I think it was- I’m expecting either Scarlett or Ilona to do well- don’t know why they needed to show every single runway for next week in the preview though

Scarlett win would be good, I feel like it would throw her into the mix as a contender as she's been consistently good but not great just yet and she just needs that push to be up there, she is yet to falter so a win would put her in a strong position!

The Snatch Game was good! I thought Jimbo's Joan was great but OMG Lemon as JoJo was absolutely EVERYTHING. One of the best ones of all time. HAIW!

 

Jimbo, Rita and Scarlett were all great.

 

I've had Priyanka going CALL ME NOW in my head all morning like a sleep paralysis demon. HILARIOUS.

Best episode so far and such a great snatch game! Jimbo, Rita and Lemon were all so good and Scarlett & Ilona did well too. So happy Jimbo got a win! Thoroughly deserved. :wub: I think Lemon would've won if she had a better runway though.

 

That lip sync!!! Best of the season so far. Glad Priyanka stayed, as I did think she was a bit better. I'm hoping Jimbo's win will now put him on a path to win. I feel it's currently between Jimbo vs Rita for the crown, although Scarlett/Lemon could be up there too if they start getting more challenge wins.

I don't think she's nasty or a bad person or anything though, I think she isn't totally prepared to deal with what she had to deal with in the competition and she has stated her mental health didn't help things during the show when you get invested and moments get emotional and heated.

I disagree that it should've been a double shantay because Kiara didn't use the song well with drops and unflattering kicks ALL over the place. It was kind of... awkward. Priyanka going into a split at that transition completely sealed Kiara's fate. I hope she doesn't fall into bottom 2 again but if she does then I fear for the other girls.
