I love jimbo but i was vrty disapointed in all their looks this week. I woulds put priyanka bottom two was well as jimbo but rita first look was awful so no complaints. The lip sync was odd i didnt get why jimbo didnt take the hat off because she struggled to keep it on.

Scarlett 1000% deserved that win, the only one who really was any good in all 3! Rita's first and third looks were awful, Priyanka's ice queen was hideous as well but at least her apres-ski was brilliant. Jimbo's make-up was unforgivable for this stage, as much as I adore her and wanted her in the final based on how much she's served all season. Even if we look away from the make-up which we can't really, none of the 3 outfits she presented were that great plus the lipsync was woeful. It just wasn't her week at all, it's a shame that that happened just before the final :(

 

The winner will be interesting, with Priyanka and Rita both lipsyncing twice but Scarlett only winning one challenge compared to their two, I feel like it's quite even. I'm team Priyanka looking at everything though!! I love Scarlett but I just don't think she's a winner, and Rita is great but I just think she hasn't got that spark I want from a winner. Priyanka might not necessarily be the most polished but she's just got IT which matters the most to me in a Drag Race winner.

Rita has the most winner-quality of all of them for me. Will be interesting because in Drag Race herstory no winners have ever lipsynced twice or more

Honestly if Priyanka doesn't win it'll just solidify how terribly judged this season has been.

 

You could tell Jeffrey was pretending to be nice this week because Michelle was there too.

I liked Rita’s second and third, but the first was basic.

I didn’t like Scarlett’s third, second was nice but they got progressively worse.

Actually so did Priyanka.

Jimbo’s second was only ok, and her make up in the third not great by her own admission,

 

I do think in the case nobody was amazing across the board then the third look should be more weighted, and for me that saved Rita.

 

Iconic exit, and 2/3 in the final i adore, if Rita or Pri win I’m very happy.

Ep 9, poor Jimbo! I would've saved her over Priyanka perhaps but the final challenge being a rap I guess they figured the others would do better.

 

As I said on Twitter I really didn't expect everyone but Bobo to fvck it up this week, esp when Rita and Jimbo are pro sewers. Bobo 100% deserved this win tho & had something of a redemption arc this episode.

 

Going by existing DragRace rules, only she can win now. She also has by far the best track record. Question is just now how good a lipsyncer is she? I'd expect her to ace the final challenge too.

1. That Jeffrey makeup. GOODNESS. A real crock of SHIT. Who did it?! It doesn’t work for TV AT ALL.

2. Michelle’s critiques were SO good and constructive and if anyone still can’t see what the problem with Jeffrey and Brooke being the judges is then I don’t even know...

3. Jimbo is obviously Miss C.

4. Priyanka to win (IS THERE EVEN ANY OTHER CHOICE!?!) but I think Rita will snatch it if she does the best in the next episode.

So sad to see Jimbo go, especially a week after Lemon. They really were my Top 2..however I do see why Jimbo left this week. I think Rita Baga had the worst looks overall for me but Jimbo definitely lost the lipsync. Scarlett did deserve her first win but for me I really don't find her that likeable, same with Rita they just have a spark that seems to be missing for me. Priyanka is definitely my winner now, she's so likeable and has done great on the last 2 episodes imo

I keep reading comments saying this is one of the strongest final threes in a while — in the year of Jaida/Gigi/Crystal and Shea/Cracker/Jujubee? I don't think.

OMG so I was spoiled wrong and it was a GAG to find out.

As soon as Rita came out looking like Margaret Hamilton it was over for her imo

 

What an epic final lipsync! & great final episode and great season altogether tbh, questionable judging and editing aside. (the latter really stood out this episode when they went through the girls' 'best bits' and half of them really weren't particularly memorable at all - I imagined there was other bits they showed and talked about that didn't make it into the final show that we've seen)

Priyanka's verse in U Wear It Well!!!!!!!! That was an absolute serve, she won with that alone. They were all great in that performance but Priyanka was next level, it was like a whole song with various vibes, she made the most of that one verse to show *everything* she can do. I think she was the best across everything in the episode, the performance, the interview, the looks and the final lipsync as well, she brought it when she needed to and I'm so happy for her! I love everything she stands for and the way she was talking about being both Mark and Priyanka for the first time was lovely. I think it shows that personality is everything for a winner, whether she's winning or in the bottom, she absolutely owns it and shines. And when she's on it, she is an absolute superstar.

 

I really did love this season too, despite the judging being off a lot and JBC being awful, mostly down to the cast. It might not have been the calibre of polish that we're used to from a US season, but it's not meant to be that. All of them brought something and I don't think other than Kyne and maybe Tynomi/Anastarzia who didn't give me a lot, there was nobody I disliked. I loved the whole top 5 in various ways, it's a shame my two favourites Lemon and Jimbo couldn't be in the top 3 along with Priyanka but Scarlett and Rita definitely deserved it too.

While Priyanka was one of my favourites overall and the final episode heavily suggested she had the strongest narrative to take the win, I did come away feeling that Scarlett Bobo deserved the win on this episode and that to an extent the edit we got of the show did her no favours.

 

She had the strongest track record, she has one of THE strongest track records in Drag Race history, up there with Dela and Bianca, and she got High in every challenge that asked for humour and reads, and yet the edit didn't really show us any of that - most evident when they were scrapping for bits that made it into this edit of the show to find Bobo's best bits. Then in terms of her narrative within the show, they shot her in the foot but pairing her with Ilona and making that the sum total of her storyline for the first six episodes, rather than her craft or advocacy that she was finally able to bring up in the last few episodes.

 

I feel similarly about Rita's (to us) random 'alien' storyline this episode, that felt very much like it was the culmination of a season-long story arc that was left on the cutting room floor.

 

Besides all that though, it was a great episode & I'm happy with the winner, think it will be a good boost to Priyanka's career that the other two didn't need as much.

 

Tbh what I'm most shook about following this final is the revelation that Rita Baga is only 32! Younger than Jackie Cox from the last US season :o

A Star Is Born!

 

It's the result I'm happiest with as I adore Priyanka and her personality! I think that Snatch Game was her only real downfall as the talent show she wasn't particularly bad during, just didn't stand out for the better. I think she'll go on to be loved by the fans moreso than the other two and has been quite versatile throughout providing, comedy, lyrics, looks and more. Is she the most talented queen? I'm not sure, but she definitely won the hearts of the fans, judges and fellow queens and feels like the best representative of the season imo.

 

I think Scarlett's verse and eleganza were weaker than the other two so I had kind of discounted her come the final lip-sync, but it was awesome to see her put on a show and was probably the best of the three imo! I thought Rita's verse was the strongest but I was a little confused at her runway, however in the close ups during the critiques it looked better when you could see the details and her makeup and I thought it was good in the end.

 

A really enjoyable first season and they had some brilliant casting, we usually have a few forgettable ones who go out first but I think all of them bar Juice Boxx left their mark on the competition this season. It's also been a season of fantastic lip syncs which is what the UK queens were lacking, had some really stellar lipsyncs multiple times. Rita, Priyanka, Scarlett, Lemon, Ilona, Kiara and Tynomi all were incredible!
