May 16, 20205 yr I feel like I’ve been able to be somewhat objective about Sherry’s performances this season so I’m not just saying this out of her being an awful person - but she 100% deserved to go home tonight! Her rap was definitely the worst and she was no where near on Crystal’s level. I also don’t think she would’ve out lipsynced Jackie which is likely why she was saved Putting Crystal in the bottom for having one less win that Sherry despite Sherry not winning in like 7 weeks is really ridiculous judging - I understand using track record to justify Jackie being in the bottom but not Crystal. It’s a shame that it’s ruined her upwards trajectory and possibly ruined her chances of winning now Gigi deserved the win imo but I would’ve rather someone else got it as she’s my last choice for winner of the season (though I’m pretty certain she will win now :/)
May 16, 20205 yr I absolutely loved this episode!! They are such a fantastic bunch of queens and I am in love with Crystal Methyd. I wasn’t the biggest fan of her end genie look but her personality is so loveable that I forgive her for that. I can’t help but feel disappointed every single time I see Sherry Pie because I think she’s a really great, funny queen and she could have been so amazing. It’s such a shame she let herself down. Also not necessarily related to the competition but why am I so attracted to Jackie Cox out of drag!? :wub:
May 16, 20205 yr Author I really thought Jackie performed wonderfully in this episode and really stepped up her game from previous weeks and especially the previous rusical. Much as I disliked Sherry I also thought she performed quite well in this challenge at least in some parts - her mirror song performance was very strong and her runway, as usual, looked extremely polished and expensive. Agreed with Michelle's critique about the disco bodysuit though and I don't recall her rap at all. Crystal did just enough but it didn't actually do it for me this week. I can only assume they changed the runway theme because...a puffy one-piece bodysuit for 'Eleganza Extravanganza'???? Likewise for Gigi and Jackie's looks though. Confusing if that was the brief. I thought Crystal's mirror performance was lovely and her rap incorporating a lift was a good choice, however her performance outfit was really not great, and bringing back her clown entrance look was unfortunate after how much she's evolved. Gigi brought it back this week. Her performance in the rusical in the red outfit screamed winner, although I'd still prefer either Jaida or Crystal to take it.
May 16, 20205 yr Jackie Cox in male form is definitely the trade of the season Gutted Jackie went but her aesthetic was never as good as the remaining queens. Do think in other seasons she would have been a shoe in for the final Sherry was obviously edited, so we didn’t get to see how much better she may have been - but will they replace her with Jackie in the final?
May 16, 20205 yr I'm happy with this weeks results! I think it was the right bottom two with the correct queen going home. Jackie was brilliant overall though and has had some great lipsyncs too! Gigi was the correct winner of this week so I'm glad for her to be in the top three for the final (four wins is quite an achievement :o) You can tell Crystal wasn't in her element this week unfortunately but I'm glad she made it through. I wasn't particularly a fan of her runway outfit, I'd have liked her to do something more eleganza that is outside of her own comfort zone but still recognisable as Crystal (maybe like her basketball wife look?). For me also she was the weakest in the performance. I thought Sherry was quite strong this week also, regardless of disqualification I don't think she would've been the winner. She seems like a quality runner up but not a winner (maybe a side-effect of the editing this season?). I think I'm backing Jaida for the win currently! She's definitely an all-rounder and the fact she makes nearly all of her own runways is really impressive! Also brill makeup and lip sync skills. I think Gigi and Crystal have a bit more to grow whereas Jaida is in her prime right now. The runway this week was very bizarre - five completely different looks and if you saw them you'd never be able to guess the theme. Like Jupiter said I do wonder if there was a theme change as nearly all of them have had more eleganza looks previously.
May 16, 20205 yr What a fantastic episode! This has to be the strongest final group of queens... Ever? I utterly adore Crystal (no surprise there) and I'm so glad she's made it to the final, but Jaida has to win. Gigi and Crystal aren't quite fully realised versions of themselves yet — as strong as they are — but Jaida is fresh out of the oven. She's ready. She's a complete star and the most deserving. May 16, 20205 yr I think being objective, they were all pretty strong this week, with Gigi and Jaida on a different level. Sherry's mirror performance was great which probably saved her. I think there were bits where she had a bit less energy and faded into the background but then Crystal and Jackie had off moments too and negative points, so it was a tossup really. However when it came down to track records, I don't think two wins really is better than one win and a run of 6 weeks on high with a brilliant journey and trajectory. Agreed this is the strongest finale ever, I'd be elated with any of them winning but for me it has to be Jaida. Crystal is my fave and I'd say she's gong into my top 5 queens ever because she is just so unique and lovable. We've never had a queen like her on the show and we never will, to be 12 seasons into the show and have something who reinvents the way that challenges such as the makeover that have existed since the start are approached is outstanding, it's like you think you've seen it all and Drag Race then out comes this hurricane of weirdness :wub: But Jaida is just an oustanding all rounder, whilst Gigi has a kind of popstar esque star quality and when she performs, Jaida just has that extra oomph and spark and warmth. Gigi is fabulous when she's on it and she has a great way of bringing somethign to the stage, but with Jaida you just feel like she's bringing so much of herself to the table no matter what the challenge is, alongside the poise and elegance of a passion queen there's a kind of goofy wamrth and funniness that you just have to love. We've never had a winner like that, and I think whilst the finale is going to be bizarre, if the lipsync isn't a total mess (it will be), she can totally do it as I get the feeling that Jaida at her best could decimate the other two! She's worked so hard and absolutely killed basically everything, or done her absolute best and turned it out anyway when she hasn't killed it, plus when you look at the fact she made her own runways and they've consistently been absolutely stunning (I don't think she's had a single bad look), she is just out of this world.

And as much as I agree that Jaida is leading and might win, I also want to remind you all that we never saw Gigi lipsyncing...so we have to wait and see if she got this or not I guess in two weeks time. She could do either Shea or Sasha Velour!!! May 16, 20205 yr Because I have so much time and have nothing else to do, I did come up with point system based on their track record. 5 = Win 4 = High 3 = Safe 2 = Low 1 = Bottom 2 Track Record between three finalist: Gigi: High, Safe, Win, High, Win, Win, Low, Low, Safe, Safe, Win = 41 Jaida : Win, Safe, High, Safe, Safe, Safe, High, Win, Win, Bottom 2, High = 40 Crystal : Safe, Low, Safe, Safe, Low, High, High, High, High, Win, Bottom 2 =35 Basically it's very close between Jaida and Gigi!!!

May 17, 20205 yr Going by likes on Instagram; Crystal is ahead of both Gigi and Jaidi. I doubt she'll win given the wins the other two have had... but you never know :D Ru might give it to the most popular one

May 17, 20205 yr I'd imagine Heidi would get Miss Congeniality if the queens vote. I don't think it's ever been a finalist as they have a chance of winning the whole thing so might as well give it to someone who isn't going to win anything else.
May 17, 20205 yr Oh Miss C is Heidi's to take FOR SURE. Yeah a finalist has never won Miss C (excluding Nina from Season 1). Monet is the only winner to also have that trophy :o
