Ellie and Girls Aloud really went for their worst! :o Girls Aloud was a v. unnecessary cover and doesn't add anything new to the track or any different from the rest of their discography, guess that's just how artists rolled in the noughties! First Time is both shockingly bad lyrics and production and I just don't really understand what audience or setting this is supposed to be for?? Shame as I like Ellie and Kygo quite a bit! But a complete dud of a track.

 

Rihanna and Gaga I am shocked that these two are in the bottom three of their songs! Madonna is objectively awful but I love it so much ironically that it's become a genuine bop. I think this is also the first time I've voted Zara. She really did come out here with her best song! :o P!nk's 'There You Go' was also a nice discovery (not even the first time I've said this about her), must check out more of her older stuff.

Doing a cover version was the 00s equivalent of adding a rent-a-rapper :lol: Unnecessary but easy fan base money!
