At the halfway stage, and after receiving one vote more than 'Call On Me', we lose Katy Perry's 2008 breakthrough single, 'I Kissed A Girl'. :o I expected this to make it to the final 3 at least tbh! It seems the song is rather polarising - whether or not that is down to problematic lyrics in today's world idk. B-) The song went on to spend five weeks at the top in the late summer of 2008 before being replaced by Kings Of Leon. The track was a smash in the US too and dominated throughout that year's summer - it reminds us of the days when releases used to be staggered and songs would smash in the US months before the UK got to hear/own them.

It well overstayed it’s welcome.

I really like it but I’ve plumped for Call On Me. The other four are absolute classics.

Aww. I remember IKAG being super popular on here in 2008. Guess the Katy stans were low for her to be booted out now.

Scissor Sisters and Eric Prydz would be my top 2 and are likely next to leave :/

Still going for Cheryl who is probably winning now ugh.

I Don't Feel Like Dancin' to go
