Finishing in third place is the classic Eminem single 'Stan' which topped the chart for one week in December 2000 before being replaced by none other than Bob the Builder! The song became Slim Shady's second #1 in the UK and also topped the chart in Australia and some European territories such as Germany and Switzerland. Shockingly, the track only reached #51 in the US - although he had by that point reached #4 with 'The Real Slim Shady' he only started to become a hit machine in the US in 2002. I'm curious to know whether 'Stan' is viewed as an Eminem classic in the States like it is over here despite its low peak. It's a fantastic track dealing with original subject matter that you don't hear in many other mainstream songs and it is arguably his best music video too.

*ADVERT* The 2008 and 2009 Heats for Buzzjack's Favourite Noughties Single are still open! Links in my signature. :cheer:

So now it comes down to two classic girl group #1's from the noughties! 2003 vs 2007.

Stan is a great song, very few #1s with such inspired lyrical content as that.

Both of these finalists would make great winners but I have to go for Tatu, one of the best noughties songs full stop!

Stan should have won really. I don’t mind Tatu but I find it really overrated. I guess I’ll go with About You Now, it does take me back to starting uni.

Probably the hardest top 2 so far imo as I have both cds :/

Think Tatu just edges it for me  but AYN would easily get my top vote any other time pending on which song it's up against!

Can see Suga's winning though and am really happy with that!

About You Now is my fave Sugababes song. So, I'm happy it's top 2 here.

t.A.T.u for me. ATTSS is one of the defining songs and videos of the noughties for me! The whole campaign is iconic! While I like AYN more than I used to, I don't rate it anywhere near the best from the Suga's discography.

A tie. :o

Stan should have won yeah, but for an Eminem song on Buzzjack, I feel it did very well!

Guessing Sugababes have won now, but rooting for t.A.T.u

About You Now - one of, if not my favourite Sugababes song! I miss maximalist pop like this!

All The Things She Said

I like AYN, but it's nowhere near their best song, bit too generic.
