OMG I was so stressing towards the end :drama:

 

I will give more details tomorrow but I must say that all the queens are really strong in this competition. Like one week you're at the top and the other week in the bottom!!!

They were good and clearly they ended in top 3, but I must say that it kinda reminded me of Club 96 from last All Stars season (which is not a bad thing)!!!

 

And I agree that this wasn't Shea's week at all and I was really stressing out...she was this close to be sent home but I am glad that didn't happen!!!

What a mess of an episode.

India and Mayhem lasting longer than Mariah does sit well with me.

Yeah that was... not a good episode. Shea's runway wasn't the best, and her group's challenge was pretty weak, so understandable that she ended up in the bottom but I'm so glad she's safe.

I don't get the Mariah hype? She was so bland on Series 3 and barely impacted after week 1 and whilst her performance in Week 1 in AS should've got more recognition, she's basically the same again.

 

Whilst India may be in the same category for Series 3; week 1 she was amazing and has one of the most iconic moments in Drag Race Herstory. Even Mayhem has upped her game in AS.

 

Mariah I just find dull.

 

Would've been hilarious if Shea had gone- that would be certainly knocking out the competition!

Every video i’ve seen of her on WOW and YouTube she’s just so endearing and seems to be one of the most beloved queens ever to the RuGirls

Maybe that's where I'm missing out...

Good god that challenge was excruciating :lol: I think Jujubee was the only one I really found funny, bits of Blair and Mayhem but they were definitely going too far into wanting to emulate Club 96, a little too on the nose for me. It was like they didn't fully have a grasp on where to go with their idea and padded it out with something they knew people would find funny. Cracker TRIED which is about the best thing to say about the Golden Gals Palace, they'd have been better off not doing the characters because it just had nothing to do with them and nothing recognisable as Golden Girls :lol: I can't disagree with Shea and Mariah being bottom along with India, the former two just didn't do anything really and India just as always was totally in the background. I love Mariah as a queen but I think she was about right to go, I'd rather see more of her than India but in both cases I think they're letting themselves be hugely overshadowed by the bigger personalities this season is full of them. Mariah definitely comes off better in WOW videos and the like, there is of course a huge difference between being warm and likeable in those alongside having that personality, and being able to thrive and adapt to all the challenges that All Stars has in store.

 

Some of the runways were shit too. Cracker was by far my favourite, both a concept and a story with the looks tied together. 3 distinct looks in one from Blair was good too, most of the rest kind of flubbed it in terms of actually being three in one. I don't think Shea's was THAT bad, I don't think crafty is really a valid critique because if Crystal came out wearing that they'd have ate it up?! :lol: I just can't fathom crafty as an insult, a lot of drag looks are self made and creative like that, a bit out of the box, but that doesn't mean they less valid or successful than a typical glamorous look? Shea did bad enough in the challenge to be bottom but it almost feels like it's set up for her to have that week of falling and being in the bottom, with bad critiques on the runway to seal it.

 

I warmed to Cracker more this episode too, it was nice to see her shake off what's in her head and enjoy her challenge with her group regardless of it not being the best.

This episode was alright... I found that I was bored towards the end. Monet killed that lipsync.

Also Alexis calling out Cracker was excellent- Cracker saying she respected Shea and Mariah made sense but saying Juju who she wasn’t even on a team with was definitely her throwing shade to all the other queens so i’m glad Alexis called her out on that

Yeah I'm absolutely team Alexis on that one. Even if she hadn't brought Juju into it, who she hasn't worked with (thus making her stance pretty clear) saying things are different this week because she's working with people she respects is direct disrespect to.Blair and Mayhem.

 

My favourite room was 24k too, I did get Club 96 vibes but with other jokes to provide meat on the bone, I loved the mirror bit, I think Mayhem probably did the best, but Blair overtook if you take runway into it. She had the best three distinct looks that were actually pretty. Mayhem looked great in her bathing suit but... that was not three looks mawma.

 

The Golden Gals one was hard to read. Cracker did best for me, but runway wise, if Mariah is getting read for a coat not being a look, neither is a f***ing egg.

 

India was painfully background, I want her to do well but I think she's out of her depth, her runway was nice but was more taking bits off than three distinct looks. I think she would have been the right one to go much as I'd like to see her succeed.

 

I adore Mariah, everything she says is golden. I'm very sad. She deserved better.

I didn't really like the episode? It generally fell flat for me and left me disappointed. Shea/India/Mariah bottom 3 were correct. Jujubee winning was the right choice - I loved her 3 seasons runway. Also when she was picking the lipstick and she went on a monologue about her cats. :lol: Juju really carried that episode. I would've preferred Mariah to stay over India, but either way I'm glad Shea stayed.

 

I thought India's first look on the runway was good. The rest of it was pretty meh.

 

Blair's 3 looks were perhaps my favourite? They were clearly 3 distinct outfits and she transitioned through them so well.

 

Cracker's first two looks were great, the egg especially! I disliked the last look though.

 

Mayhem's bathing suit look was so cute. The other looks were ok.

 

Mariah's 3 looks were stunning, as always. The first look was so good. I don't get Michelle's Critique of her first look (taking off a "jacket" or w/e), given Cracker did the exact same thing.

 

Shea's look had potential, but fell flat. I was so scared she was going to go home. :(

 

I liked Alexis' first and third looks.

 

I'm glad Alexis called out Cracker during that whole respect thing. Whilst I like Cracker, I do think she is playing mind games to a certain extent - or trying to be shady at the very least.

 

One thing I'm sad at is Juju losing the lip sync. I had such high expectations that she'd slay it, but both her and Monet were boring to me? Monet did do better, but even her lip sync felt bland. Granted, I don't think "Juice" made a good lip sync song. I was hoping Jujubee had some juice to pour over herself and make her hair/body wet or something. :lol:

 

One thing I'm happy about is that a few "spoilers" I've accidently come across on youtube comments/social media etc have been proven false (Elim order/final queens).

I gagged when Mariah came out in that first look. SO good! She's one of the most underrated queens in the show's history <3 I predicted she would be the next one to go on Friday and it came true :cry:

 

Cracker came across so much better this episode which cannot be said about Alexis who was too confrontational. I mean she apologised already and Alexis continued to push and push. SHE is the one who is playing mind games.

 

I got a feeling that Juju didn't bother with the lip sync because she didn't want to win on purpose. Might be wrong though because her actual lip sync wasn't that good oops

What on Earth was this episode?
