As to the voting order, we're roughly following the order of acts in semi 1 and semi 2 because that was the easiest way to do it on the spreadsheet with the least rejigging needed! Technically that is random since that was randomized at the start before we launched those threads ;)

Will be interesting to see if semi 2 tracks start rising up the rankings in the second half!

 

I think I'm slightly more likely to vote for a track that belonged to the same semi as me. You get more time to get to know a track and once a track is in my votes, I'm sometimes reluctant to push it down in favour of newcomers. But I try to recognise and overcome my biases.

Was hoping for a better start than this, argh. Appreciating the 5 from TARO Bellamia and 4 from Rontvia so far!

Peek behind the curtain: As I say this was an extraordinarily spread out contest, with 15 tracks scoring over 200 and more than 25 tracks clearing 150! Sharp contrast to the last edition!
