'Make Luv' falls out in eighth place. The track was #1 for a month throughout April 2003 before being replaced by Busted. The track proved most successful in the UK - failing to chart high almost anywhere else. The song's success was partly due to its inclusion in the popular Lynx commercial of that time. I have never been a fan of the song. It's very bland and I always assumed it was more a top 3 hit than an actual #1.

I'm curious as to what makes some people hate Teenage Dirtbag so much. The lyrics? The vocal delivery? Probably the same reason I love it so much - the vocal makes the song for me! And I just find it a really catchy song no matter how good or bad the lyrics may be.

I’m guessing high pitched male vocals? They don’t go down well here. Also neither do guitars. People probably find it annoying.
