Good evening!!! Welcome to the Semi-Finals of the 128th Buzzjack Song Contest, brought to you by SNÁ|1! We are so happy to be co-hosting this months contest with our friends Terra Avium from the neutral venue of the 100 Acre Woods! The team here at SNÁ|1 are huge fans of Winnie the Pooh so we are thrilled to be here.

We have two semi-finals of 31 wonderful tracks for you with two AQs this time out! The top 20 from each semi final will remain here in the 100 Acre bubble for the final show hosted by Terra Avium. To let us know who you want to make the cut we will need your vote for your 10 favourite entries! You will be using the Eurovision Song Contest point scoring system (12, 10, 08, 07, 06, 05, 04, 03, 02, 01). You may not vote for your own entry, and you are only permitted to vote in your own Semi-Final.


The deadline for voting is 23:59 on October 3rd. As usual, this is your warning that the ÁSC and SNÁ do not accept late votes and do not send reminders!

Would have preferred the other semi, not feeling particularly Confident (Demi Lovato Song) about this one.

I think all the songs I know are in the other semi (those being Weekend, Mehr Davon & Lie To Me) so lots of new songs to listen to for me!

In a semi with 2 of my former potentials! :o VERY VERY happy House Vs. House got sent.

Very interested to see how Animals does for Aeroche. After being vetoed with Hypnotized, I confirmed Animals and then switched to Mood. Not sure what the extended mix sounds like but I’m sure it’ll still be great.

Always nice to see former Danævii entrants in the contest too and 2 of them this time in Redondo & 4 Strings. (plus Kiesza if you count me sending her Christmas song to that spinoff)

I was considering a few other songs by Suedeonia's artist, love their world music sound but I was a bit unsure they'd make it through. Shame I can't vote for it, but hype <3

It's happened at least twice, both pretty recently - Aesthetica in BJSC 116 (if you count them as being the host of that final, kind of tenuous considering they only had the laptop capabilities to open the thread and it was Leww who did all the actual hosting work lol) and... République d'Áskorza themselves in BJSC 124 when you were our designated emergency host of that month :ph34r: I believe those are the only times and both are a little ambiguous due to them both involving emergency hosts.

I think Ramrynia also did it in BJSC 90? (although they didn't host the results so maybe that's where it differs)

Pete wins a big shiny medal for the accomplishment of being better than me at recalling useless BJSC trivia, as you are indeed correct. x
