Third out and the third consecutive casualty to receive more than 40% of the vote to be booted out is Razorlight and their 2006 hit 'America'. Released in October 2006, the song became the band's first and only number one single after scoring a #3 hit with 'In The Morning' earlier that year. I don't know what made 'America' more of a success than their other singles... it's a rather nondescript, MOR indie track which offers nothing that makes me want to listen to it again. :kink: Good riddance I say.

Might as well return to Kate Nash since she's now been picking up more votes. Her voice is intolerable.

Edit: However all the songs I dislike have started off with the votes (Kate, GA - The Promise & Natasha) so yay.

I don't mind America but agree that it's rather unspectacular among their discography & a weird #1 single looking back.

I will happily accept either 'Foundations' or 'These Words' going. The latter is an example of good artist getting a number one with one of their worst singles (also see Maroon 5 :kink:).
There was me thinking I was the only one who didn't like 'These Words' (will be voting for it after two other songs if it's still there).
I’ve gone with Sound of the Underground. Never really rated it.
Possibly the best song on the list leading

...but Arctic Monkeys only have one vote so did all the others have zero points? :P

Kate Nash to go, sorry

Foundations to leave of course.
Everyone who voted for 'Foundations'... consider that you're sharing an opinion with Jason.

This one is hard! All good songs. Have gone for Craig David

I understand why Kate Nash is heading out - I don’t think it has aged as well as others

and? :coffee:

Well Jason's not wrong with his opinion on this one tbh :P
