Okay but he's now learnt from those mistakes. It's great in hindsight isn't it to say he should have done this or that. The current lockdown will be at least 8 weeks with schools not back until March 8th at the earliest and non-essential shops maybe April with hospitality maybe May. He's now not rushing anything which is right.

Has he? He didn’t last time, third time lucky I guess?

It's not like we are living in an age when any actions made by other countries' governments are immediately reported worldwide. Does the British government use mail pigeons to get news from other countries? I mean what the f*** are you even blabbering about?!

Are you talking to me? I thought my last post was very clear. We can only learn from our mistakes. We can't turn back the clock.

Are you ignoring me? I pointed out that the situation we’re in right now is because Boris didn’t learn from last year’s mistakes.

How could I ignore you. :D I don't need to answer every post. He's learnt as they're not rushing to end the lockdown early this time.

Let me see if I got this right. Chris defends Boris because he 'made a mistake' but Boris would never even admit to it which means he doesn't agree with Chris' viewpoint.

I don't think my CPU will be able to handle this level of 'logic' still defending someone who you think made a mistake but wouldn't admit it like a decent human being would.

Every action or inaction has consequences. This is the point. No one is saying about turning back time. Gosh your argumentation is so infantile and naïve and most of all dangerously stupid.

Well he doesn't think he made mistakes. Others including me do. He could have locked down earlier but the public don't like lockdowns anyway. Eat Out didn't help either.

So what do you want from him now? Do you want him to stand trial or something? Resign? As Cabinet ministers have said, you don't change PM's in the middle of a pandemic or war. You tell me. He's not lifting restrictions too early this time.

'People don't like lockdowns'. I was SO SURE we all LOVE to be confined to our apartments for weeks on end.

Resignation sounds like a fantastic idea.

EDIT - Can't be arsed to feed the troll

I'm both unsurprised and astounded that there hasn't been one resignation despite 100k+ deaths.

Hancock should resign in my opinion. He's the Health Secretary.

It's not a good idea to change the man at the helm or his first officers when the ship's sinking.

You can and should change leaders in the middle of a crisis if they aren't working out (precedent: WW2, 1940, Chamberlain -> Churchill).

There should be louder voices willing to challenge Johnson's premiership on its failures, both from opposition and within the Tory party, instead we have cronies in Parliament and the media making excuses for them.

We had two PMs in World War I and three in WWII.

Had Jeremy Corbyn been at the helm, you wouldn’t have said that.

Boris going to Scotland for a non-essential reason undermines the stay at home message and will unfortunately probably encourage more members of the general public to also travel around the country for non essential reasons.
