Posted May 17, 20214 yr Hello everyone. We have been discussing things behind the scenes with the Inner-Circle and we have decided to make a few changes. First of all we have gone back to the successful tactic of appointing new moderators to forums that we believe have more potential to succeed under a fresh moderating. We would like to welcome JSG to the Katy Perry forum and we will be announcing new mods to the Rita Ora and P!nk forum shortly! We're excited to see how far these new faces can help push these forums. Onto our next phase... we have decided to give TWO new artists a go with the Artist Forums. We appreciate everyone will be thinking "It didn't work for Billie" and "Dua struggled until 'Future Nostalgia' got underway but hear us out: Our first new forum will be AVA MAX. We believe there have been more members signing up using Ava as their avatars or referencing her in some sort of way in their username and her threads in pop are always hugely successful (the lead single from her 2nd album for example, is already almost on 2 pages despite only a tiny snippet being released) and she always seems to be releasing SOMETHING even if she won't actually release her 2nd album for a while. The next one is even riskier with her being newer but we have decided to green light an OLIVIA RODRIGO forum. Possibly our riskiest choice for an Artist Forum to date, but it's one we think has huge potential if it pays off and unlike Dua & Billie, we're launching it right on time with the album release, so hopefully there'll be enough discussion to keep her afloat for a good while and establish itself as a popular forum. Both risks with HUGE potential to paying off. We want the AF section to look as fresh as possible and I think these two being more outright pop-orientated than Billie was, may benefit them more. Both of those artists have a variety of posters in their threads and it's not just the same 2 or 3 people repeating things, so we're hoping they translate over into the Artist Forums well. Next, we are going to be saying goodbye to a forum :( We would like to give the moderators of Beyoncé and Destiny's Child a HUGE thank you for stepping in and helping to try and revitalise the forum after months of it being inactive, despite new albums & promotional activity from Bey. Thank you so much Dexton, Gerald & Scene. After a hugely successful first couple of months of being appointed moderators in the moderator rehaul, the forum seems to have been run into the ground due to Bey, Kelly & Michelle being very quiet. So we have taken the decision to remove the forum as we think they'd be far more suited to their respective genre forums. Finally, there has been a decision to BRING BACK a former Artist Forum. So please join us in welcoming back the SUGABABES forum. We're hoping that the 20th anniversary discussions of 'One Touch' and the likelihood of getting their 8th album Studio album titled 'Soonababes' can keep discussions afloat. We have faith that Silas (who will be reprising his moderator role) will try his hardest to not let it slip through the nets again. Very excited for this phase of AFs. We hope you are too. May 17, 20214 yr I'm not fussed about the addition of Ava Max but I reckon Oliva was a good about! I'm sure they'll both do great regardless. Yay for new forums! :cheer:

May 17, 20214 yr Fantastic news about Sugababes. Never really understood why the forum was let go as it was still busy and with forums like Steps and Spice Girls thriving off nostalgia, it always could have continued doing well. Not sure about the other new ones. It’s early in the day for Olivia and although I know Ava Max is popular, I’m really not sure why.

May 17, 20214 yr Exciting! Can't see myself posting much in any of these sadly but I do enjoy a good shake-up and both certainly have potential. (timeline updated, can't believe it's been over two years since we initially lost the Sugababes forum :o)
May 17, 20214 yr The eagle-eyed among you will notice Silas has been made a pop mod - there were SO many Sugababes threads years back that he's helping to move them, it's strictly temporary for this purpose only! :kink:
