July 19, 20214 yr ‘Stop This Flame’ seems a lot bigger than its chart position suggests as it seems pretty culturally engrained but maybe I’m hearing it a lot on football etc!
July 19, 20214 yr Didn't even know the Foo Fighters had a new album out, was that a surprise release? A cover of Bee Gees disco songs sounds interesting, will have to check it out! It's half "Dee Gees" covers, the other half is a live album of their last record!

July 19, 20214 yr Same :( it’s been sold out on the HMV website for weeks and hasn’t been available in store at all (I did see 1 copy of the CD in my local though) so I’m guessing it must’ve had quite a limited run of pressings? Because it really can’t take too much to make the top 40 surely… Boo. Stream Teatro D’ira vol. I Literally everywhere has been sold out for weeks (Amazon, HMV, Indies and even WHS), so it must have been a super limited release - I was expecting to see them in the Top 10 off of the back of the release due to low sales needed :nocheer:
July 19, 20214 yr Always thought 'Dont Play' had Anne Marie and KSI joint main artists so surprised it's not starred out. Def one of the best songs of year so not complaining!
July 19, 20214 yr I think most songs are only registered to a single artist as their 'primary' artist even if they have joint lead credits. See also the JAY1/KSI song also being in the top 100 as it's clearly only registered to JAY1 even though it's on KSI's album.

Technically yes, Anne-Marie, KSI and Digital Farm Animals are all joint lead artists on Don't Play but it's based on the primary artist on the track, which is Anne-Marie :magic:

July 19, 20214 yr Top 5 sales added As I thought, PS1 has indeed been reset but Don't Play is still on ACR. Celeste was never on ACR in the first place, Stop This Flame wasn't charting for long enough.
July 19, 20214 yr Demeanor is #60 on Spotify, #83 on Apple, not top 100 on Amazon, not top 100 on iTunes, nothing on Youtube... but still #14 in the Mids :D
July 19, 20214 yr Similarly odd that Don't Play should be on ACR but still ahead of Friday and only just behind Levitating / Montero / Bed. 3 Lions hangs on at #79, but it's still as high as #23 on Amazon so it makes sense.
July 19, 20214 yr Looking more closely at the data, despite Don't Play being labelled as ACR, the sales figure it has actually matches that of the "old rules" (ie. no ACR) chart - so it's likely a mistake and shouldn't be that high :thinking:

July 19, 20214 yr I wonder can Ed Sheeran close the week with 100,000 for a third consecutive week. His new album's going to be absolutely massive. Despite the sales slump I can see 500k first week. Year's best-seller unless Adele releases..
