September 25, 20213 yr I've decided that for personal benefit I am going to host a listenthrough of Semi 1 this evening for anyone who wishes to participate. Due to the short time remaining for voting, it would make sense for one semi final to be this evening and another tomorrow evening. I will provide further details later on.
September 25, 20213 yr You're welcome x Well, I always start listening from the end :kink: BUT I haven't listened to the New Lexico entry yet, so it still has 100% potential to be a gem, too. I'm really happy with the last third (that's what I listened to so far), basically everything is point-worthy + Cor Lupus sounds like one that could win (again, this is based on around 10 out of 62 songs), just throwing it out there to mess with Cody's head, really :lol: (but it is a great entry and should do very well). For me, it's quite the opposite, I could've made a great top 10 out of the last 12 songs :lol: (I didn't, btw) Fantastic semi, 19 songs were point-worthy and I had 13 songs in the 'must point'-zone... I rarely hype Asian entries, but I'll throw some well-deserved hype towards Greenfroze and Lotunia, both entries are fab! xx
September 26, 20213 yr Omg just realised Ojnoj have gone for that TikTok sound :lol: Not a country I'd expect to go down that route! Interested to see how that does. I assumed it was only a 30 sec clip at most made for TikTok! Isn't it about those multi-coloured pop tray things that are a fad atm?
September 26, 20213 yr This was the weakest semi of the year for me eeek. And I've also sent what is probably my least qualification-friendly track so I still don't think there's a silver lining of it helping my chances.

I only loved three songs in it, and then really liked two others but if I was voting then the remaining five would be making it in as 'best of the rest'. Having said that, the three songs that I do love here are really wonderful discoveries and have led me to delve into the back catalogues of the artists in question.
September 26, 20213 yr Apols I indeed wasn't able to attend the listenthroughs this time but I'll be there for one for the final! Had a listenthrough of this semi earlier and while I think it's a little lacking in songs that are instantly huge standouts, I definitely still have more than enough vote worthy songs. Here to cheer along Pagasa though who I really hope are onto at least a qualifier this time, one of their best entries to date! (will vote tomorrow, I'll try and fit in a second listenthrough first)

I'm also on three tracks that I love and I hope all three qualify! It's amazing how much it varies as some of the spring contests this year had 4-5 times more tracks that were firmly in the lovezone for me.
