Yay for Ewan, top 20 incoming this week for definite. And yay for Hot Hits putting Acraze top 100 already within two days.

when Divide came out, Shape did 1.15 million, Galway Girl nearly 1 million,

even the lowest album track did > 500K

Ah thanks! So it is much lower then, I remember Galway Girl being very high with streams but couldn’t remember how the rest of the album panned out.

Wow so the Ed album tracks dropping away quite a lot while the 2 monster hits remain strong. I wonder if having those 2 huge hits prior to the album has actually not worked in the album’s favour.
What a shame for Ed when it's a lot better than Divide. I didn't even check out the album tracks for the collaboration project as the singles were so awful. Oh well. Maybe his Christmas single will still do well.

That didn't affect 'Divide' though.

Normally im a huge ed fan but after first couple of listens other than the 3 tracks he released pre album not a lot is standing out atm

What’s the deal with the multiple versions of “Somebody’s Watching Me”?

Cos it was a ‘new entry’ on the official chart this week despite the fact it’s charted before?

Are they combined or considered separate entries?

Presumably it's either an issue with the catalogue number or just the OCC being generally janky as they often are. There's no real reason to consider it to be a separate entity to its original run.

edit: didn't realise it had multiple versions in the Spotify chart which I guess is what you were referring to oops - they should be combined as they are the same song but one being a shorter edit, the OCC listing it as a new entry in last week's top 100 is almost certainly an unrelated issue

that song's been an internet meme for many years now, it also made the Spotify top 200 last year.

2 huge hits should never hurt. In my opinion the songs are quite similar and both electronic and upbeat so maybe that hurt the interest in his album. One of them should have been acoustic and/or a ballad, those are the songs people seem to love most from Ed, especially the full album listeners.

Visiting Hours was released prior to the album as well though - yes just as a grat, however was different from both BH and Shivers.

Huh at 'Shivers' now overtaking Adele on Apple. I guess her lead actually wasn't that massive there after all. (also just realised the gap between 'Easy On Me' and 'Shivers' is actually smaller on Spotify today than it was yesterday, perhaps this week's #1 may not be guaranteed for Adele after all )
Adele's lead on Spotify is not that big either anymore
Adele looks to have taken a big streaming hit yesterday. I assume Halloween played a part in that and also played a part in Ed's rather big drop for his album tracks.
