October 23, 20213 yr OMG I might actually vote for a country I NEVER vote for. Exciting! After the first listen-through I've wound up with four categories. 8 songs in "NO DICE" - Already know I'm not voting for these. Won't be listening to them again. 6 songs in the "FORGETTABLE" - Might in theory vote for some of them but highly unlikely. a whopping 11 songs in the "POTENTIAL" pile - Odds are that seven of these will get points from me. and finally 3 songs in my "DEAD CERT" category - These will probably get my 12/10/8 points as it stands.

October 24, 20213 yr Voted. Pretty strong semi for me overall. Think Dans is the clear winner from S2. Rock songs delivered this month too!
October 24, 20213 yr Voted. semi 2 has a truly "mixed bag" of genres and I'd like to have pointed a lot of 'em for being different, but only 10 sets of points, doh! So Notable bits of semi 2: Anyways, there's a song from the forgotten goddess of country (Bobbie Gentry, arrived with a legendary bang Ode To Billie Joe and album, had 3 or 4 years of hits, then left the Music Biz forever, whereabouts unknown to this day) - Fancy! Reba does a pretty good job to a dance remix! There's a good Choke suggestion of Nelly Furtado's Maneater hook, the former fab Swansway Soul Train hitsters (more or less, Scarlet Fantastic back after 30 years), and a Tiscore track that I'm sure has an opera or classical bit that I just can't place, and a hit popstar for a 50th entry. I'm hyping Harmonica, classy and understated, and they have a habit of not being noticed sometimes.
October 24, 20213 yr Voted. A strong bottom set of my votes with some decent songs missing out but not totally blown away by anything. The top songs are what I'd think of as '8-10 points in the final' type entries
