Slightly worse than when I did Ansel's version ;) Happy I managed to get the colour one when I could only bring the Prince album to mind and astounded at how close some of my wacky Missing Vowels guesses were (for 'You're Elvis' I put 'Your Elves' fully expecting it to have the word 'love' in there somewhere :o)

October 25, 20213 yr Thanks for a brilliant quiz and congratulations to Dandy*. I’d guessEd the Greek letters one after one clue but chose not to go for it. I should have had the courage to go for the planets one after a single clue as well. I was nowhere near the northern capitals but what a great question! I shall have to catch up with tonight’s version of the real thing later as I’m seeing Public Service Broadcasting.

October 25, 20213 yr Thanks for hosting Dr B, I always love a good round of Only Connect :wub: Delighted to have won, I thought I’d done well as nearly all of my guesses paid off as the clues were revealed - but just wasn’t sure how brave everyone else would have been. Slightly annoyed with myself for jumping the gun on the northern capitals one, especially as I’d have guessed correctly after clue two. I was thrown by the Eurovision nature of the first track and assumed it was something else.
