But those DNQ votes were kind of weird with only like 2 people actually liking my song. Maybe it’s fair you alls got chopped a week ago xx 😘

Thanks for the 18s, I never expected it omg 😭

what. a. winner. I'm not used to my favourite winning but Aeroche was an easy favourite from the moment I heard it, some absolutely epic hardcore. I did think that D'yermak'er or Terra Avium were more likely to get points enough to win but while both of those were fantastic songs I love that 'Parmi Les Mortals' barreled through to win. Elsewhere, N DNTN and Lotunia far too low but I did expect the latter.

Thank you to all who gave t+pazolite points and especially Trifoski for the 18 and Cor Lupus for the 15 - a midtable result is about what I expected for 'Oshama Scramble', a solid footing to build on for next contest - and thanks WoW and Jafet for hosting!

Congrats Leww, I have to agree it was nice to see an inspired winner this month! I would've predicted Let's Eat Grandma or maybe Highasakite, and both were deserving too so glad to see them top 3 (poor Chez though ).

Really happy to see Trifoski, Scherzland and Aesthetica in the top 10! Also loving the late surge from Wholune from near-bottom to top 30 *.*

Thanks again WoW and Jafet. Hope this means we're making our long-awaited return to Aeroche next month!

Congratulations Leww! Certainly an interesting track

And thanks to both our hosts for such a great job this month!

OMG YES it actually happened! MY 18 WON *_* it's been over 50 contests :yahoo: many congrats Leww and even more so many thanks - easily one of the best ever discoveries I have made from BJSC. The TASTE prevailed this contest :D

Not too fussed on the rest of the top 10 (I liked the first half of Autopsy but the second dragged on for way too long). Good to see Alaska just sneak into the top 10, I've not really been into a lot of drag queen entries but that's 2 excellent ones from her (who can forget the legendary This Is My Hair?)

Summericia and Adonia both FAR too low for those fantastic songs and WTF at the host last by such a big margin?! Guessing that must break the record for biggest points drop for a nation between consecutive contests and for a song that was really quite catchy (and MUCH better than Holiday (sorry not sorry)).

Props to the hosts for running this smoothly and very excited for the next contest as I have a bangin' entry in mind.

The wonderful thing about music contests like Eurovision and of course this one, is that one cannot argue about taste; I for one dislike the winning song very much - its genre is 'pas pour moi'. Seeing the ballots come in with that song (which was randomised into the pimp slot - ha!) doing so well, I was quite sure it was going to win.

I decided to have a separate results leaderboard for the DNQ's because, well, they deserve their time in the spotlight, too!

As for my entry - I totally expected to flop, but to come last was a bit harsh hehehe. I would not have entered this band into a round I did not host, as I knew the BuzzJack crowd is not the most early/mid 80's hi-nrg friendly (at least, in my experience). This band was and still is my favourite band of the 80's (The ones on here that also frequent the PopJustice forum, know this by now hehehe).

I was ten y.o. when the album that features Little Angel came out, and it's still an album I love very much. And since 2021/2022 is a special year in the band's career, I thought I'd introduce them to the BuzzJack crowd....

At least they got some streams out of it!

For my next entry, I'm choosing between batshit crazy and a more indie rock-flavoured song. Hmm...

Congrats Leww on a massive 14th(?) win and thanks everyone who voted for me

Semi Final One

Semi Final Two

Not the dramatic duo being announced together, next to each other in the final but also next to each other in the actual semi results.

Duo of the year 2022 confirmed

Wow, 15th in the semi and 17th in the final! Way better than projected :cheer:

Scherzland in by 1 point and then top 10 in the final :o So nearly fell victim to the wrong semi effect, which I reckon Dandy* did instead. I'm sure that could have been top 20 in the final but that's the luck of the draw.

Very close set of votes in SF2! If I hadn't voted for any of East Rukhavian, Seyetana or Rolloland they would've been out! :o

9th is great for me but also could've been so close to going out! Interesting stuff, poor Utopia and Fljotavik!

Thanks Wow for the fab hosting, loved the DNQ's vote splits, and well done Leww, did you really not win last year!!! No wonder the world is falling apart! :D

Top 10 in the semi but only 12 points clear of DNQing! I do think both Fljótavík and Utopia could have done pretty well in the final if they had qualified as well much like Scherzland did, but of course there had to be two unlucky ones from the 22 songs that got over 50 points in that semi.

The top 3 of semi 1 :cheeseblock:

i won’t lie, i was worried for back on my love in semi 2 because it was surrounded by a lot of songs that were of a very different vibe.

so very glad it made it through + turned it around

Honestly, I voted a bit too early. Would have been my 18pts now, absolutely in love with this. So count an imaginary 3 points to your score for me if you want (not that it changes the results at all but still)
