So we say goodbye to Girls Aloud. Their second no.1 single, I’ll Stand By You hit the top spot in in November 2004 as the Children In Need single that year. A Pretenders cover, to me it was a bit of a lazy Christmas pop group cover, something GA would go on to repeat for another 2 years until realising their original stuff was much better.
