He doesn't make personal tweets tbf, his Twitter is definitely controlled by his team.

He does occasionally make personal tweets but Harry's always been a man of few words!

Harry didn't owe anyone a tweet to be fair, it's not like SPACE MAN is a charity track (hence people like The Weeknd and Justin Bieber putting tweets out before to encourage sales of their rivals).

Biography

In a 2019 interview with Apple Music, Harry Styles shared a memory from the early days of One Direction. They were in the studio in Sweden working on “What Makes You Beautiful”. First single, the rollercoaster train just starting to climb the track. Someone comes into the room and says there are a couple of girls outside. Why? the band asks. They’re looking for you guys. For One Direction. “And we’re all just like, ‘But we’re in Sweden!’”

Ah, the old, “who…us?” routine. Harry! Incorrigibly charming, dreamboat for starry-eyed youth the world over. And, as it turns out, a legitimate force in pop, the kind of artist who could bridge contemporary appeal with classic values in ways that felt fresh but familiar, universal.

Part of what had made One Direction so great was that they never shied away from the pleasures of boy-band pop, but never patronised their audiences or fell back on gimmicks, either: Never mind the no-dancing policy; they were writing songs, exploring music as something beyond the show. In his solo career, Styles (born 1994, in Redditch, England) has done much the same, combining soul (“Watermelon Sugar”), confessional soft rock (“Sign of the Times”) and psychedelia (“Sunflower, Vol. 6”) with a modern touch, summarising where pop has been while also pushing it forward. “I’m just trying to go through life being a little less worried about stuff,” he said. “Definitely with working. Because ultimately, it’ll be okay.” He had a busy five years there. But he’s got a lifetime ahead of him. - Apple Music

well although its sad that sam didn't get the #1 this week, it is easy to day that this was by far the most exciting chart week of the year so far!
I was so confident he'd do it.

I wonder what the difference was.

Sage advice for y'all: expecting good things to happen is the worst mistake you can make with the UK charts

Aww I’m a huge Harry fan but wanted Sam to get his number 1. So disappointed for him. Hope he has a huge career from here as he deserves it.
Sad for Sam I was sure he would have got it. I can see Harry hanging on to the top spot for another 3 weeks or more, with his album out now.

Nevermind anyway - still plenty to be happy about in this week's chart even if the headline outcome was a slight disappointment, I'm thrilled in particular to see Kalush Orchestra hanging onto the top 40 (I had a really bad feeling they would end up at like #41) and 'United In Grief' maintaining its status as Kendrick's 3rd chart song as it's a huge highlight of the album for me but understandable that it dropped off quicker than the other top few tracks - hopefully this means we get the best of both worlds with 'Father Time' getting to debut next week (I'm certain it will in the top 100 at least, making the top 40 may be more up in the air as it's fallen quite a lot on streaming already).

Also brilliant that 'N95' and 'Die Hard' held onto their positions from Wednesday + I've not heard the My Chemical Romance track in full yet but did hear a clip of it from Jade's personal chart recap the other day and it sounds great from that, and regardless of quality I'm always here for rock bands being able to make the top 40 especially with this being such a monumental comeback! 'Remind Me' is a fine enough song too so not mad at that also adding to a healthy top 40 new entry intake for the week. Amidst all the excitement with Kendrick and Eurovision this week I've kept forgetting Post Malone dropped a new song, a #25 debut for that feels quite impressive with what feels like a complete vacuum of hype and it not even being placed high up New Music Friday.

Happy for Florence to grab the #1 album too, curious to see the gap between her and Kendrick in the end.

For some late comments on a couple of climbers that I've only just heard now, not a fan of that new George Ezra song at all unfortunately (I really hope it's not coming to be a bigger hit than 'Anyone For You (Tiger Lily)'...), but the Benzz song is a bit of a guilty pleasure bop, it kind of gives me the same infectious energy as 'Packs And Potions' although sans the 'novelty' of the accent. 'Destination Calabria' is a banger so it's kind of *.* to see it showing up again in the top 40 in some form, and very possible that it'll be there twice over in the coming weeks! (I have low expectations for the Nathan/Ella song to be any good but still x)

I knew that would happen. Too good to be true. I do like 'As It Was' but 7 weeks at #1 does seem a bit too much for it personally but I guess Ed hogging number 1's for long and quite commonly I suppose at least it wasn't him holding off Sam I guess.

Still a fab result for Sam and even beating Katrina's #3 with 'Love Shine A Light'. I'm not sure why that didn't go to number 1 then but for Sam to peak higher than the 1997 UK Winner is still a big result in itself.

Predicting him to slide to 12 next week as Harry will have two more top 10's incoming!

I blame Harry for not making a tweet :(

he's not tweeting for his fans... ;)

oh that is a shame Sam Ryder just fell short at the end of the week but he did brilliantly to even make it in contention in the first place.

hooray for MCR and Kalush scraping the top 40 this week too as they'll inevitably be in for big drops next week.

I don’t get how… with 5 versions on top 20 and 3 in the top he couldn’t cover 300k or less streams differences? Weird and disappointing.

^ apparently it's because Harry had a bunch of CD sales added at the end of the week.

I take back that I was joking about Harry being cancelled. Shades of 'folklore' having an early physical drop to deny Fontaines D.C. a #1 album xx
