Mabel probably has the best chance from the new releases since her team are going hard with the bundles, price reductions etc

:D #psychic7

great starts for Black Midi and Beabadoobee so far, and Superorganism popping in though i assume they'll drop pretty fast

Steve Lacy in the top 40 singles currently, the OCC will be making sure that doesn't happen by Friday :teresa:

I hope Luude can score his second top 40 hit and I also hope that ArrDee can Calvin Harris can both remain top 40 too

That's pretty good for beabadoobee, already beaten the first week sales of the last album!

Fair play to Mabel, she is doing better than I expected, looks like she might actually improve on the debut of 'High Expectations' despite the muted success of the singles. Not so sure about the #1 now, can see it being quite close between Harry and Mabel now.

Perhaps I just overestimate her popularity but given the massive hype, airplay and general coverage for Lizzo, I find it bizarre how poor her album sales are.
‘About Damn Time’ didn’t even enter the Spotify Top 200 until it took off on TikTok some weeks after it released, I just don’t think she has much of a fanbase here.
Sadly unless a chunk of sales are missing I think Harry will overtake

Kate no longer at the coveted #7 spot :nocheer: unless Crazy What Love Can Do drops below during the week, it looks like the Top 10 clean sweep for Running Up That Hill won't be happening.

Bad Habits and Bad Habit could end up at adjacent positions.

The bulk of Mabel’s sales will have happened already - the reductions will help but are not going to pull in enough to stop Harry.

oh poo! Well it'd have been a 'fake' record anyway. I believe that Bad Habits has actually done it on a non-ACR chart (according to JulianT's thread anyway). Wouldn't be surprised if other records have done it since 2017 either; difficult to know for sure.

According to Joseph, Someone You Loved has covered every position from #1 to at least #22 on old rules:

Thats great figures for Mabel

Thats what I thought shed do all week

Even if Harry catches up, shes done ok

Lizzo has always been someone popular that doesnt sell

And relies 100% on tiktok so the flop was expected

How many sales did Harry have at this point last week?

He was on just under 4.5k in the Monday mids last week.

Hmm so he might end on like 11.5k ish? Do discounts typically have an actual effect on the sales or?

I think they of course have an impact - I’m never convinced by how much though.

I guess the fact signed versions are £5.99 on Amazon may help more than just the standard CD being reduced.
