July 18, 20224 yr I’m guessing Mabel is going to debut at around #2 then with around 11k which is still much more than i expected
July 18, 20224 yr According to Joseph, Someone You Loved has covered every position from #1 to at least #22 on old rules: 49-18-12-9-4-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-3-4-3-4-3-3-3-3-3-4-5-5-8-5-5-6-6-7-9-8-10-9-7-4-5-5-4-4-7-10-8-7-16-13-24-45-6-7-8-11-10-8-9-7-9-11-13-14-13-15-16-16-17-20-21-19-19-24-29-24-26-26-22-24... Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Blinding LIghts had done the top 10 too (or possibly even Descapito). Every position in the top 22 is pretty mpressive, though of course only possible with streaming slowing declines down so much! I wonder about on the actual sales chart, that may be a better comparison for pre-streaming.....
July 18, 20224 yr Some newer songs hovering around the lower top 40 and outside. Steve Lacy, Luude, James Hype and Tom Santa (boo). Be good to see the first three all make it/remain there. 'Sunroof' still down at #48. Hopefully that's on for a new peak if it doesn't get there this week but I am expecting it to providing it climbs some more on Spotify over the week. July 18, 20224 yr It’s had a (much delayed) vinyl release this week so that will be why it’s showing up for now. Expect it to drop like a stone from here on in…

Blinding Lights has indeed been at every position in the Sales top 10 - its first 38 weeks were: 6-7-13-16-19-5-1-1-4-1-1-2-3-2-1-1-1-1-2-1-4-3-3-1-1-2-3-3-3-4-6-3-4-8-9-9-9-10
July 19, 20224 yr Maybe Mabel could snatch it - #1 on iTunes, #2 on Amazon plus all the reduced bundles on her site - streaming could let her down though surprisingly.

I really can't see her selling much more than her current number. It's going to be hugely front-loaded and she's not really had any hits this era. The label will need to pull out all the stops or else I see Harry being #1.

The label are not doing too bad - just depends if the appetite is there for reduced physicals I guess (I’m never fully convinced it makes a huge difference) iTunes £4.99 Amazon Signed CD £5.99 Banquet Records - Signed Personalised Copies Signed Cassettes £4.99 2 x Signed Cassettes & Voicenote Message £11.99 Signed CD & Cassette & Voicenote message £12.99 Signed CD / Cassette / Poster £12.99 2 x HMV signings 6 x Intimate Shows / Album Bundles
July 19, 20224 yr I'd more likely throw some support her way with a reduced vinyl, so if you're reading, Polydor... :P
July 19, 20224 yr ^^ Holding out for the pink vinyl to be reduced, they may as well sell them in week 1!
July 19, 20224 yr Always good to see acts putting in a fight for sales and a number 1 album, its whats needed in this climate to get sales as its hard to sell an album these days. Not thats its a big shock or anything but James Bay falling hard, 66 already, i hope he can get a 2nd week top 100 if nothing else. Edited July 19, 20224 yr by Feel_The_Fever
