Welcome to the ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.

If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder:

SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios:

100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)

600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc)

ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are HALVED, and count at the following ratios:

200 premium streams = 1 sale

1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale

Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR.

The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you.

Are they really just ignoring the first 5 weeks on the chart for 'Heaven Takes You Home' then...

Goodbye Lauren x

Here’s hoping for a big clear out in two weeks time.
The list of songs on no decline is still longer than those with any decline out of those which aren't on ACR yet. I'm still surprised there's been no apparent rule change like there has been in July of previous years. Especially if songs like CWLCD and 21 Reasons peaking after months in the Top 20 becomes more of a norm, there's even more need to prevent songs slowly on their way down like WDYG being serial ACR dodgers at the same time.
Stop listening at moment till get clear out all songs avoid acr chock life out top 40

I have a feeling you won’t be listening for a while then. Maybe you should get a new hobby, it can’t be healthy stressing out this much about the charts

I don't think you say this enough... oh wait :melb:

To many chart sheep on buzzjack think chart not mass think all fine agree that we get some stuff for bloody ages

Yes, but I think we got it the first 457 times you said it.

This is not a new thing, it's been this way for many many years now. And it'll only get slower in the future.
I really hope that the majority of songs on dcl-1 decrease again for the next 2 weeks so we can have a big acr clear out, it is defo time for harry, lizzo, future etc to go

i'd like Harry to break some sort of record for most weeks in the top 3 but it's a long way off beating 'I Believe' by Frankie Laine which managed 26 weeks in the top 3 in 1953.

That particular record of consecutive weeks in the Top 3 is one I can't envisage ever being broken. However even if Harry goes to ACR at the earliest opportunity, I think he'll take joint second place with The Beatles - She Loves You on 18 weeks.

In terms of total weeks in the Top 3, Last Christmas is on 20 weeks and could easily overtake the 26 of I Believe within the next 18 months, provided there are no rule changes.

I don't have a full update for last week's chart but the mids have provided a lot of information, we could be in for a BIG clearout over the next 2 weeks.

Obviously, not all of these will actually go to ACR (and I'd expect a chunk of the DCL-1 tracks in particular to swerve). As for the DCL-2 ones, Lizzo, Harry [sushi], Metallica, Calvin and Tion Wayne are basically certain, As It Was and Gaga are likely, Vegas and WAIT FOR U could go either way and I Like You (A Happier Song) is almost sure to swerve.

In fact, the only song older than 6 weeks (and therefore on "SCR") is Dandelions. Everything else in the midweek top 100 is in the above 2 lists, already on ACR, or less than 6 weeks old.
