Don't worry @Paddington James even some Mods are yet to buy the damn album sarah

Even worse... I bought Kneecap's digital copy AND vinyl 🤫

I will get Sweat vinyl too but I was looking at the Gatefold and it seems sold out everywhere so I will maybe wait for that to turn up again or if I see another edition out there that seems interesting (or cheap).

That's the beauty of a chart battle regardless of the placements the artists in question always sell stacks more!

I'm sure if the SG were in a battle it would be exactly the same.

I agree with @Mr. C. Joel if it was a group release the fans would absolutely be acting the same probably even more people buying multiple copies its the norm for fandoms these days no matter who you stan

Can we please not post sales figures or confirmation of final album positions until the charts have been announced? Thanks.

That makes no sense literally no one cares about staying top 200 especially not the general public / casual chart followers I know even the artists I stan once it's out the top 100 I'm not really bothered.

Surely having as many sales as possible this week made more sense?

From that metric, do you think the General public and the casual chart followers care if she sells 19,500 copies or 20,000 one week? Doesn't it make more sense to stay in the charts for another week at least?

More visibility, more longevity?... It would indicate that at least part of the campaign wasn't so 'million variants scaming the fans' and was more broad-reaching?

Personally I cared more about having as many sales as possible week 1 as that's what listed everywhere like Wikipedia etc...

The argument of a million variants has long gone when all artists are doing it it's pretty much the norm now.

I just really disagree being top 200 is pretty irrelevant I wouldn't say selling <1k copies on week 2 is longevity either.

We'll have to dissagree on that one. #3 - OUT doesn't look good at all, sorry.

Honestly I think it was on purpose. They knew by midweek that she was not gonna go #1, so they probably delayed some of the shipping in some places to make them count for this week and get at least a second week in the top200, and they are right to do so

I don't think so otherwise surely they would have held back the Yellow Cassettes too rather than shipping those ones out at an additional cost to themselves?

This information is under a strict embargo. We cannot post it until Radio 1 reveal it, not to mention it spoils the result for those who want to listen along.

I’ll be happy if it manages a second week in the chart! Just so it doesn’t become the first solo Spice album (that actually made the chart, sorry Mel B x) to only spend 1 week top 200.
