I seem to recall her last album being released in a competitive week and could have been a Top 5 if released in the weeks previous. Still, amazing sales for Mel, she’s really worked her fanbase!

Hope she won't wait another 6 years to drop the album 10!

She did one performance for one show there lol "performances on the biggest TV shows" 😂

OK if you want to be pedantic, I said 'performances on the biggest TV show" as in, ONE show, Two performances. Which she did - What Could POssibly Go Wrong and When You're Gone (with the presenter).

Don't come for me, bitch! whip

So so far we have:

UK: #3

AUSTRALIA: #5

GERMANY: #54

AUSTRIA: #44

So far, that's all we know for international positions right?

They really put their whole main efforts into the UK and Australia this time and at least in those two countries it paid off.

In Italy, she debuted at #10 in the FIMI Chart for cd, vinyl and cassettes. Not the main chart as far as I know.

#13 Irish indie chart, not in top 100.

Went to the Rough Trade signing today - Mel was lovely as always (feel like I’ve seen her as much as my family this past week with all the signings and promo!).

You can see how elated she is with this new wave of appreciation/success ❤️

Screw the Irish! 🤬😂

I'm gonna take #13 as it's official position instead. 🤭

Did she go to Ireland though you cant blame them if she didnt promote there

Besides everyone knows the UK is the most important in the whole world 🙌

Yes, she was on the Late Late Show. No performance though.

Even without the chart battle she still started on great numbers so I think it's safe to say this release went down really well.

I'm seeing lots of posts of her at today's signing and everyone's saying she's never felt so loved and she's so pleased the album has gone down so well.

Don't know if it has been posted but I've not seen it. Apparently #41 in Belgium maybe if she hadn't cancelled the signing she might have made top 40. 🫢

Her second highest charting album there after:

Northern Star #28

Beautiful Intentions #90

This Time #92

Melanie C #132

I didn't know she had more signings today, are there any more, could it be she might manage to chart again this week.
