I cannot see how Truss can remain as PM. It’s absolutely shocking - virtually everything in the budget has been reversed. I’m quite angry about the energy price fix being diminished to 6 months. Unless a miracle happens and the Ukraine war ends soon then prices are going to continue rising and even consumers on middle incomes will be significantly affected. Bring on a general election and get rid of this incompetent and shambles government.

The new Home Secretary is Grant Shapps who will not be expected to repay a single penny of the severance payment he received last month when Truss sacked him.
Lol at all the right wingers moaning about a "Tofu eating, Remoaner, Woke, Guardian reading, Globalist, etc etc" being in charge on the departure of Braverman added to all the other crap going on. Well, in one way YES it's great that you bast*rds are beginning to lose (although this is only the turnint point, long way to go) but the correct answer is you guys had the power, you guys f*cked it up so badly and lost.

I think that's the least of the country's worries at the moment. :)

The tofu/woke/guardian thing is quite amusing to read about on Twitter. Right-wingers only seem to be able to call everyone with opposing views names and focus on that instead of talking about the issues at hand. Sadly though, a lot of the time is wasted on semantics, definitions and name-calling, it's like talking to a wall sometimes. No wonder, the world is neck deep in the toilet right now.
(don't want to offend any toilets in the chat though, i'm woke so i'm very much aware that toilet lives matter x)

Ministers must be loving this hokey cokey of hires, fires, rehired with all their severance payments. Even if Truss goes really early she still is eligible for a 6 figure "Public Duty" payment every year as well as security costs paid. THAT is a DISGRACE!

Tories are in complete disarray. I’ll be surprised if Truss remains as PM by Christmas.

'Guardian-reading, tofu-eating wokerati' Genuinely sounds no different to a Twitter troll.

I mean, good riddance, she made Priti Patel look reasonable, although it's basically a game of musical chairs in the cabinet right now x

An awful lot of money is being thrown at this constant cabinet merry go round which is a worry considering the country is as good as broke.

I have to choose my one-liners for the chaos I've woken up to, how has Truss been a politician for this long? After PMQs it actually looked like things were going on track for a bit despite Starmer's zingers, but she goes and throws that fracking three-line whip thing on the pile
