I suppose it's getting a bit late in the year but I was fully expecting the album to be released for Christmas given how well his debut has done (and how it did over Christmas 2019).
Wow announcement over 6 months in advance! Interesting that he is touring UK/EUR prior to release too.
Bad move. By the time the album is released he will have been overexposed and everyone will be sick of him. :manson:

Just like they were last time, you mean?

I’m shocked it’s 7 months away I thought it would be February at the latest. I suppose it won’t matter most people won’t see him on tour and even if he releases another 2 singles before then there will be hype for the album.
horrible title tbh that's worst than all Alanis (pretentious) album titles put together :D

Quite like the title. Be different & embrace it.

Quite a long wait though. I wonder if they are hoping more singles will back up the album and reduce the risk of a massive fall in sales (Emeli Sande, Duffy style)

Last time was different. It was at the end of a very lengthy album campaign, rather than before an album release.

Lewis Capaldi album titles do be looking like the start of a poem.

The Q4 album releases looks very weak this year and could have done with a major player like Capaldi releasing sooner.
Shocked the label haven’t made him release it next month that’s why I thought he released the single in September - and the November release schedule is so poor this year maybe because record companies realise nobody buys Xmas gifts anymore?

but people still do, Adele/Ed/ABBA did great last Xmas

I think it's just that the album is not ready yet, he always said it was gonna be 2023
