Taylor’s UK store has dispatched a big chunk of orders today too (myself and a few others I know), so I anticipate that physicals number to increase a fair bit more..

Mine also and they told me they got the album really late on Friday and couldn't send them till today.

Respect to Taylor i honestly dont get it but she comes across like a nice person and writes her own songs.

Meghan will probably keep climbing, who would have thought she’d manage to debut top 40 and that’s with no immediate playlisting / new music friday

The less said about the album the better, i feel like it would have been around #80 had this not being doing well on streaming

Just shows anyone can go viral randomly with 1 song

Sadly no one will care for the next one

Really impressed to see Taylor Swift reaching new levels of popularity in the UK this far into her career. Absolutely fair play to her and her team for shifting so many copies already in this sales climate.

The Arctics have also shifted way more than I expected them to finish the week with. I thought they would struggle a bit after their last album seemed to alienate their usual fanbase so to come back with another change of direction and sell this well is a really strong performance there too

I got an email today saying my vinyl had been dispatched but got home and it was already there.. so don’t know when my sale (and likely others!) will get counted? Could be in for some steady sales across the week!

Yeah I got a dispatch email for my vinyl today as well but it already arrived on Saturday

same but for my cd! and my cd with signed photo arrived today, still no email about that, i'll expect it on friday lol

those Top 2 sales are INCREDIBLE! So proud of Taylor, and it'll only keep rising! wonder if she'll manage 200k sales by the end of the week!

Oh great, hopefully my signed cd will come soon then. I had a dispatch email today for my other cd which arrived two days ago.

Mess

Oh that's good for Meghan to be top 40 already. Not 100% loving it but fab for her to get a hit again. Ironically after Charlie Puth also doing the same this year after several years of flops.

Good to see Sigala and Sam top 40, hope it holds on just so it can give Sam another top 40 to his name but I'm personally over it pretty fast lol.

Sam, Sigala & David won't hold on, they're only there cos CD singles

Would've been really good to see a proper chart battle between the two albums as I think it could've been closer if Taylor didn't have so many formats, but fantastic to see sales so good for them both, and even more impressive as they are both so many years into their career as well!

Obviously Taylor didn't score a hit here until her sophomore era (unlike the more country-receptive U.S.) but it's interesting to note that both acts released their debut album in 2006! Great longevity indeed.

Good to see that the Sunday sales for Taylor and AM were correct. I can only echo the thrill of seeing two 100k+ sellers, I too didn’t think we’d see those numbers again this year after Ed/ABBA/Adele last year.

I was expecting The 1975 to skyfall so pleasantly surprised to see them at #9 and only behind new entries. Ouch for RHCP, people really don’t care about these ‘part 2’ style albums.

Lost in the discussion of Taylor and AM (and Kylie lol), that is a really good showing for Loyle Carner's album as well, has already beaten the opening sales of his last album too! Yet will end up in the same position due to a very poorly chosen release week.

Oops looks like Taylor probably isn't getting the top 3 in the singles though with 'Snow On The Beach' being only barely ahead of 'Unholy'. Should be 3 of the top 4 for sure though.

With Taylor on 20k streams for the week so far, probably safe to say she's still not going to be beating Ed's record (unless there is more missing data than usual) - and that's despite the fact that streaming rules have changed in a way that I think should make that record easier to break (with 16 songs able to count instead of just 12). I'm sure the Ed record won't stand forever but it's proving pretty crazily resilient so far if he survives Taylor as well.

There's more chance that The Car won't be Arctic Monkeys highest album by next year than it reaching number one then.

Yeah I fully expect it'll be behind at least 'AM' if not also their first two albums within a month. They might be able to pull off decent longevity again if they ever do return to the 'AM' sound but I won't hold my breath for that (not that I mind their current sound, I really like what I've heard from this album so far).

CARLY SLAY *.* almost beating the first week sales of Dedicated already, anywhere in the top 20 would be a nice result

I'd say there is only Spotify data x 1 day

if AM were on 102K on Sunday mids, cannot be on 105K only today

also I count Taylor did 20K streams on day 1 alone across all platforms

I'm sure of that and that's only cuz Spotify didn't update until 12 hours later or even more with the numbers by country. I'm sure both are missing and tomorrow's update (will be?) will be bigger for both.
