Love is All Around was of course the biggest selling single of 1994 after it spent a colossal 15 weeks at #1 yet again showing that the combination of a ballad and a blockbuster film was the way to ridiculous levels of success in the early 90s - this becoming the 4th year out of 5 so far in the 90s where the biggest selling single was lifted from a movie. So we venture in to the top half of the songs and your contenders are Whigfield, East 17, Let Loose, Doop and Ace Of Base... vote out your least favourite as always
November 6, 20222 yr Once again, a song which was comfortably behind Doop in all previous rounds gets more votes when it matters  I don't even dislike Doop but it seemed to come and go very quickly in 1994 and I was fine with that - plus I much prefer the 4 other songs at this point.
November 6, 20222 yr I’m switching to Doop now - it’s nice enough but we’re getting down to the good ones now

I was a bit suss last time around, however a switch from Bon Jovi to Wet Wet Wet does seem a reasonably logical thing for people to have done given they are both similar ballads.
November 6, 20222 yr I'm just hoping East 17 win now tbh with perhaps Whigfield and Let Loose top 3 (won't happen but it's preferred top 3 from this lot left now). 'Doop' needs to 'Doop' out of here. It's a catchy song but is out staying it's welcome x
November 6, 20222 yr Author Let Loose for me. I did like it at the time but it's hasn't aged very well at all.
November 7, 20222 yr Doop AGAIN. Not that the Wets song is particularly a loss either. East 17 to win!
November 17, 20222 yr Doop's time well and truly run out this time! Pleased East 17 are the only ones not getting a point (jinxes it so someone casts a vote now..) Edited November 17, 20222 yr by Roba!
November 18, 20222 yr I suppose it's possible the presumably large Doop Fan Club might discover Buzzjack any day now, but on balance probably not. :o
