March 6, 20233 yr I dunno how much it factors into it, but if the iTunes chart is anything to judge by, Freya is better at selling her singles than PinkPantheress tbf.
March 6, 20233 yr If Freya Ridings sold 2.3k physical singles Sure PP can sell at least 3k Freya’s CD singles were signed and 99p with free delivery, the Pink Pantheress ones are unsigned, and cost £4.98 for 2 with delivery so not sure how many stan fans she has that will want it? March 6, 20233 yr Miley also increased her lead throughout the week and PP had a larger Spotify lead, Im sure Miley will manage another week at #1 even if there were 3k+ physicals. Flowers is also 59p too which will help it

March 6, 20233 yr Freya’s CD singles were signed and 99p with free delivery, the Pink Pantheress ones are unsigned, and cost £4.98 for 2 with delivery so not sure how many stan fans she has that will want it? You can buy 1 CD for £1.99 on the PinkPantheress online shop. It costs £3.98 for 2 CDs
March 6, 20233 yr Morgan Wallen’s physicals are out next week for some reason, so it’ll climb higher then. It’ll be interesting to see how it does though, he’s just announced an O2 Arena show so I’d expect at least Top 10.
March 6, 20233 yr Wtf, I know country has a silent fanbase in the UK but somehow I doubt there’s much demand for Morgan Wallen to play O2 academies nevermind the O2 Arena
March 6, 20233 yr Sigala wired why release cd in September and download march Sigala's download is out in September too, it got pushed back. He's just bundled all of the pre-release songs + the new single into an EP on Spotify and called it Every Cloud - Silver Linings. This isn't the full album.
March 6, 20233 yr What is a Morgan Wallen? he's the biggest country music star in US right now, like Taylor/Drake levels of big there.
March 6, 20233 yr Wtf, I know country has a silent fanbase in the UK but somehow I doubt there’s much demand for Morgan Wallen to play O2 academies nevermind the O2 Arena Morgan Wallen is by far the biggest artist in the genre in the US though (although seemingly Luke Combs has managed more UK crossover). I was thinking #40 seemed quite shockingly low but the CD release being a week late would explain, probably a top 10 contender next week. May also explain his US sales projection being 'only' 400-450k if it's a week late there too as I imagine he'll be a decent pure seller (and now makes me think even more that there's a chance he holds Miley off #1 in the US). I wonder why it's not a coordinated release though, it wasn't exactly a surprise drop? Ooh yay at slowthai being ahead of Mimi Webb anyway, was genuinely expecting him to be behind! Nice at De La Soul being top 5 atm too, fingers crossed they can hold at least a new peak (#12 or higher).
March 6, 20233 yr Is there any reason to expect big sales here? His chart history is literally only one album that entered at #77 and stayed for one week
March 6, 20233 yr Wtf, I know country has a silent fanbase in the UK but somehow I doubt there’s much demand for Morgan Wallen to play O2 academies nevermind the O2 Arena Luke Combs is playing the O2 Arena three times this year!
March 6, 20233 yr Luke Combs is playing the O2 Arena three times this year! I’ve heard people talk about Luke Combs though! Never Morgan Wallen lol. Luke Combs also has a top 10 album and two entries on the singles chart Edited March 6, 20233 yr by No Sleeep
March 6, 20233 yr He's become quite a bit more notorious since then. Not exactly in a way to make him a huge chart star but to sell a few thousand CDs I'd have thought probably yes. (Also that last album has become the longest running top 10 studio album of all time in the US, you have to think at least a modicum of that must rub off on the UK) I'm not rooting for him obviously, he's garbage both as a person and musically. Just being objective.
March 6, 20233 yr I wonder why it's not a coordinated release though, it wasn't exactly a surprise drop? My guess is so that it’ll stay at the top in the US for week 2, perhaps break some kind of country record there?
