'The Way' became Ariana's first ever U.S. top 10 single almost 10 years ago. BuzzJack has decided to celebrate its anniversary early by... knocking it out of the survivor :kink: Ari had just wrapped up the TV show Victorious and was moving on to the spin-off programme Sam & Cat while flying high in the chart. She had already tried a crack at music on the side, with the bubblegum pop 'Put Your Hearts Up' a couple of years prior, but ultimately that direction was a false start and the more R&B lane of 'The Way' was where her heart was truly at. The single features the late rapper Mac Miller who, of course, had a special place in Ariana's personal life both as a close friend and romantically at one point.
