May 16, 20232 yr I’m not particularly expecting No.1 as Miracle pretty much has a two day head start. Would love to see it though. I did feel with Euphoria she was very unlucky to lose out on No.2. Feel The Love has proven quite enduring so was a fair song to beat her to the top at the time, and ended up quite far ahead of her in the end. I think We Are Young, which was falling from the top, only just edged past her though. It’s mad she’s even in the mix for a second top three hit after so many years in the commercial wilderness and years between releases.

It’s OCC’s responsibility to make sure that their rules, which are supposed to make the chart fresher, don’t do exactly the opposite more often and often.

They went on pre-sale in March and sold out, then another 2 batches were added and both sold out. The signed ones were originally limited to 500 but they don’t a lot more than that.
May 16, 20232 yr HMV in Liverpool vastly overstocked them. I guess they were hoping to get impulse 'souvenir' purchases from fans in the area, but they must have had about 300 or more in stock just in that branch.

May 16, 20232 yr Really excited to see the Eurovision songs chart so high. It was a terrific week in Liverpool and deserves reflected. I am hoping Teya and Selena can do well with "Who the hell is Edgar?" and Marco Mengoni can go top 100.

May 17, 20232 yr The three songs (that aren't UK ofc) that are doing well are probably 3 of the VERY best songs of Eurovision for a while, imo. In fact, I think I'm alone in this, but I think the highs from this contest are the highest they've been for me probably ever. There's just an awful lot of "filler" from the contest too.

Sam had a limited number for that week only and pushed for more downloads instead whereas Mae Muller’s team pushed CDs straight after she was announced.
