May 31, 20232 yr Sorry for being annoyingly last minute again but finally doing a semi 1 listen now so my votes will be in in a couple of hours x will definitely try and make sure not to miss the listenthrough for the final.

I guess I’m thinking that I hope you are somehow getting something positive out of participating in BJSC than just chasing qualification each time. I won’t confidently assume I’ve made it this month, but I’m happy to have ticked off one long standing potential that I’ve been meaning to put out there so at least that’s done now and I can now try a different direction next time.

I've always sent songs that are pretty borderline anyway and I'm not gonna change that in an attempt to pick up more votes because the whole thing I like about BJSC is sharing my own discoveries that I genuinely love, it's just more fun if you're able to invest in your own song as well as others throughout the final as well. To answer your question, I always vote via the Spotify playlists, I make a playlist of my shortlist ones then save the ones I really love to my library, this is what my liked songs currently look like: I wish people would stop criticising other people's motives and song choices etc and just let them enjoy the contest however they please :rolleyes:

The amount of incredible artists i have discovered either from this contest, or for looking for new music to enter, is insane. Without this contest there are dozens of artists I listen to daily that I never would have even heard of otherwise. And that to me will always be more valuable than any result my entry gets.
