June 9, 20233 yr great to see such a big jump for Hannah Laing into the top 40 this week! could very well be a big summer anthem this year. oop at the one shot Madonna had at getting a top 20 in the 2020s just falling short (I don’t expect that Sam Smith collab will do quite so well)
June 9, 20233 yr Good to see Madonna back in the charts, with the biggest hit she's been part of for 14 years. Would have been great to see both Madonna and Kylie in the Top 20. No need to compare them or say one is doing better than the other. Some people... shockingly... are big fans of both of them!!
June 9, 20233 yr It was extremely close with Madonna, but still a pretty huge success. We will where "Vulgar" will land next Friday.

June 9, 20233 yr Author 20 | 12 | 8th week Taylor Swift Karma 3rd single from Midnights Released: 21st October 2022 / 26th May 2023 Label: Taylor Swift Chart Statistics NE (27/04/2023) | 68-57-55-56-61-67-12-20 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 20 Sales 08 Audio Streaming 05 Video Streaming Video XzOvgu3GPwY Biography The country world feigned surprise when, after three albums of Music Row-indebted songcraft, Taylor Swift formally embraced pop on 2012’s Red. But no one should have been shocked: Any 14-year-old capable of persuading her parents to move from suburban Pennsylvania to Nashville for her career clearly has ambition to burn. And the thrill of following Swift’s rise has been watching her execute it flawlessly, largely because her melodic intelligence is equal to that ambition. Her early, youthful love songs heralded 2010's newly self-possessed Speak Now—which showed off her scathing wit—and evolved into knowing, ironclad pop fare that held its own against boisterous Max Martin production on 1989, her fifth album, titled after her birth year. Throughout, her songwriting has blurred the lines between the public and private, burying enough real-life clues (about, say, scarves and Starbucks) to make clear that only Swift can own her narrative, thank you very much, while still retaining a lyrical elegance. Though 2017’s reputation might have been perceived as a gorgeously constructed piece of dramatic theater—its attendant heroes and villains all real-life characters from Swift's public feuds—all that spectacle proved an attention-grabbing cover for her most romantic album yet. She turned up the romance even more on 2019’s Lover, but it was 2020’s folklore and its companion, evermore—ruminative, relatively lo-fi albums written and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic—that earned her the Apple Music Award for Songwriter of the Year. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2009 02 Love Story -1- MILLIONAIRE 2009 60 White Horse -AT- 2009 51 Teardrops On My Guitar -2- 2009 100 Crazier -OST- 2009 30 You Belong With Me -3- 2010 57 Today Was A Fairytale -OST- 2010 30 Mine -1- 2012 67 Safe & Sound (feat. June 9, 20233 yr omg yay for karma making a 2nd week in the top 20!!! thought it would drop like a stone after last week so glad its sticking around!
June 9, 20233 yr Noel Gallagher's long run of #1 studio albums ending. Just a few months after Alex Turner's did too.
June 9, 20233 yr I’m sorry but Ice Spice kills me on this Karma song. I mean when she says facts I always burst out laughing.
June 9, 20233 yr I like the Hannah Laing song! Very commercial and easy listening (in a good way). I’m fine with the new Weeknd song too, but it’s not his best.
June 9, 20233 yr To confirm: Madonna has definitely not been edited out of this song :kink: Ending those ageism allegations <_<
June 9, 20233 yr Noel Gallagher's #1 studio album streak is officially over, 2 titans losing their streaks in the last few months after Arctic Monkeys (/ Alex Turner)! I haven't properly listened to much from the Foo Fighters album but I did watch a YouTube reaction video to it out of interest - 'The Teacher' is a fantastic song, one of their best ever, happy they got the #1 for that alone. The rest wasn't really sounding like anything crazy by their standards but not bad by any means. Guess we will get a song from it on SyncTube next week :magic:
