I really feared that Christine & the Queens would struggle to go top 30/40 so I am somewhat relieved to see the album as high as top 5, even if it stands no chance of staying there.

There was also a vibe of 'things were so much better in my day, when the kids loved rock and roll'. It's like the recent Royal Blood outburst expressed in a more polite way but over the course of an album

not heard any of McFly's post-comeback stuff but based off one of the singles being called "Where Did All the Guitars Go?" i had a slight hunch that'd be the case

shame most of the people who bought the first Squid album haven't come back for this one (though it did look like it would chart considerably lower based on itunes/amazon/apple music positions)

Tbf the first post-comeback album was pretty decent. Oh well, at least they look fairly safe to hold on to #2 with those sales. That drop off in sales from #3 to #4 though :o

Oh wow wasnt expecting Christine & the Queens top 5

Especially after his last album flopped and missed the t40

Unexpected high sales also for Horan

Mae Stephens woulda done much better at Eurovision thsn the other Me.

Don't be so hard on yourself x

Love that Pink is getting a resurgence in the albums!

Nice boost from start of the tour and increasing airplay/streams from "Runaway" now it's being pushed as a single. She has two big dates 24/25th in Hyde Park to come. Hoping we'll see a nice boost for the album that week. Perhaps one of the days will get recorded/shown on TV.

Savage Gardens debut album back in the chart at number 75, the limited white vinyl release doing ok, maybe just a inyl in general is needed to be made available.
Shocked at how low Niall's streaming numbers are!

Seemingly stronger than his streaming for Heartbreak Weather in its first week though. In the Tuesday midweek its streaming sales was 1,954. I assume The Show's will be higher than that in today's midweeks.

Sam, Chris & Janelle this is a big week for nonbinary people, happy pride month indeed

Any update on Padam Padam? Thanks !

I'm presuming it's in a Dave sandwich at #11

EDIT: Oh, maybe not then. Hopefully it can climb a couple of places by Friday before making its way into the top ten the following week...
