I’m still a little surprised it’s not increased in streams this week though, she’s decently positioned on Apple playlists.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking, I was expecting streaming to pick up a little this week. Clearly it hasn't captured the interest of the public, which is a shame.

I'm not sure that the individual members of Little Mix ever really became well-known in their own right in the same way say the 1D members did, they always seemed more like a cohesive group than a set of 4 people with potential future solo careers)

100% this. I personally never had much interest in either group outside of being able to name/recognise some of their songs, but I’d be able to name all the members of One Direction but only Jesy from Little Mix

I would say One Direction members were marketed individually as well as a group. Like a lot of their merchandise is one for each of them. I think other boybands did the same too, the idea probably being that girls can buy the one for whichever they fancied lol. I think Little Mix probably weren't marketed like that.
What’s the story in Jackanory with the missing sales? Not complaining, just wondering. X
I'm actually howling at the suggestion that Leigh-Anne is only flopping because she dropped her surname from the release.
I mean it’s fair to say Leigh-Anne doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it as Beyoncé or Madonna

Since when has a singer's name got to do with success, have Kylie Minogue, Anne-Marie, Susan Boyle or Celine Dion suffered due to their names?

I never said anything about it affecting her success I just think it’s an odd decision

I think the album midweeks tomorrow will be interesting as both Lewis and Elton should gain alot since Monday, i still think Elton John could be number 1 with Diamonds on Friday, if it does, will it acgieve the record for the longest album to climb to Number 1?
Don't Say Love is out of the top 40? I can't believe this is going to be a flash-in-the-pan hit, I thought it had legs to at least do a decent run in the top 40.

Not a chance

Just finished listening to Maise Peters album for the first time and it’s brilliant - such a bad week for her to release as she will definitely be pushed down by Elton and Lewis :drama:

Surprised that considering she is signed to Ed Sheeran’s label that they chose to release in Glastonbury week.

Elton and/or Lewis are not exactly going to be putting up unbeatable numbers this week though? If this is a 'bad week' for her then nearly any week would be.

(unless they somehow have a really huge pure sales spike but I doubt it)

If anything this is a really good week for her to release given there are no other new albums coming even remotely close to her.

Multiple ‘Glastonbury’ versions of Elton’s album have been released on physical (the main one is now out of stock on his website, Amazon & HMV) so has sold well, they’ve also been selling various versions from his London pop-up shop so certainly expecting a ‘really huge pure sales spike’ from him.

Anyone knows hw many copies of the Diamonds Glasto special vinyl were made?

The minute I read about it, I went online and it was already sold out, so cannot be that many
