'Get Busy was the 2nd hit for Jamaican Rapper Sean Paul who turned 50 this year. Peaking at number 4 in 2003, he managed to last a long time in this before just now getting one more vote to get the chop. The song is just one of several to use the Diwali Riddim along with fellow 2003 hits 'No Letting Go' and 'Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)'. One interesting point that has already been mentioned before is the chart run of 'Get Busy' {4}-6-7-7-7-19-49->7, a sudden 12 place drop followed by a 30 place slump the next week which seems a bit suspicious as to what happened there... Anyhow It looks like an ACR chart run but with those last two positions coming 7 weeks in as opposed to 9!

4th Sean Paul - Get Busy (12/37) [32.43%]

5th The Feeling - Fill My Little World (11/33 Votes) [33.33%]

6th Will Young - Your Game (9/33 Votes) [27.27%]

7th Ja Rule Ft Ashanti - Always On Time (9/32 Votes) [28.12%]

8th Jay Sean Ft Lil Wayne - Down (12/40 Votes) [30.00%]

9th Vengaboys - Shalala La La (14/40 Votes) [35.00%]

10th Brandy Ft Ray-J - Another Day In Paradise (11/37 Votes) [29.73%]

Feels weird saying I can go for something else now and despite voting it for most of the time I actually do enjoy 'Get Busy' a fair bit too!

Judging by last round it looks to be Gossips time up but I'm voting Jem now. Nice enough track but I do prefer the other two and a couple of others that went out to it!

NO :( How did The Gossip survive that?!!

I knew it was likely but disappointed - Get Busy really is a classic, definitely my favourite of this round. Still going for Jem, which as I said previously, is nice but forgettable compared to the other two.

A battle of how many times do we have to keep voting this song for a lot of members continues too lmao. Incoming Julian next with Kylie :kink:

Shame Sean Paul made it further than The Feeling and Will Young

Like all 3 left. My fave is The Gossip but looks like they are going next

I can only imagine it was deleted and stocks disappeared. Maybe to drive sales of the album, although it wasn't until the week Breathe went to No.1 a couple of months after Get Busy left the chart that Sean's album finally climbed into the top ten. Breathe wasn't even on the album but it also coincided with airplay for Like Glue beginning - in early September 2003 the two songs were in the top three together.

Slightly wishing I’d tactically voted for Jem as want Gossip in the final.

Should have tactically switched my vote to Jem but I have maintained integrity and am continuing to vote for Kylie. x

'Standing In The Way Of Control' is the best of these 3 by a mile ('Get Busy' was my 2nd fave from the top 5). To this day I still get that song as a random earworm all the time.
