I’m not sure whether Busted have done enough to overcome Olivia Rodrigo’s second week as I’m expecting them to be quite front loaded, but I really hope they can do it somehow

Promising first update for Busted! Really hoping the free meet and greet/signings can secure them the extra sales they need! They deserve a number 1 album especially considering how big the first 2 albums were!

amazingly enough that’s only the third-biggest flop from last weeks new entries: Rolling Stones are down to the 90s and V of BTS is out the chart altogether

Great to see Zach and Kacey in the top 40 now, I think they have climbed from their midweek position in every previous week so hopefully that means they should be secure to stay there this week! (Then the next target will be to eventually outpeak Morgan/Oliver/Luke x)

 

I actually don't think that is a safe enough lead for Busted, I would still expect Olivia to do a minimum of 25k this week if not 30k so they're gonna need to sell a fair bit more to hang on I reckon.

 

Nice surprise to see Mitski as the second highest debut, I was assuming it'd be Thirty Seconds To Mars. Looks like she will drop a bit by the end of the week but likely to secure a 2nd top 10 album.

Gosh at Busted, I thought they’d be safe for No.1 finally but Olivia is such a force so is going to put up quite a fight. I wonder if the issue with Busted’s Guest Features CD having the wrong tracks on it has led to many refunds?

Possibly - although the official store is automatically sending replacements, and I got an email from HMV stating how to get a replacement disc.

 

I ordered the mega bundle but it still hasn’t shipped yet until they get the replacement CD - bit annoying that it’s held up my entire order when I pre-ordered months ago :drama:
