Alex Parks was the second winner of Fame Academy in 2003 and becomes the 2nd to leave with her debut 'Maybe That's What It Takes'. It peaked at 3. She followed up with a top 15 hit and a top 5 album with Introduction. She released another album titled Honesty and disappeared from the spotlight after that lead to no success!

This is a strong one for me, already like everything left to some degree on Round 3.

But it's Leona for me as well.

It’s between Kids and Bleeding Love for me but going for Bleeding Love. It was a great moment at the time but it hasn’t held up that well and I prefer songs like Better In Time where she uses fewer vocal acrobatics.
Sticking with Leona for previous reasoning that it is her second inclusion - although wouldn't be sad at the other song in contention going either

It's really underrated I think. Also bought it from Woolworths when it came out so have some memories from it too lol. I guess I can see why it might not excite others though, not that it's meant to be purposely fun sounding as it's a ballad of theirs!

Stereophonics.

Personally I remember finding it an underwhelming listen musically after really enjoying everything from Performance & Cocktails, plus the follow up singles from this album too.

I guess it was lyrically quite different, targeting music journalists, which is a kind of meta subject for a comeback single that is going to be reviewed all over the place.

Sorry, Stereophonics for me too - it reached the lofty heights of 73 in my personal chart and slots into the more plodding parts of their back catalogue. They can be very very good sometimes (and I include kelly's latest side project in that) and sometimes they aren't...
