November 28, 20231 yr The spreadsheet link is back up now after fixing a slight oopsie that hopefully no one other than me noticed x (doesn't affect any results)then why does it still say I need access
November 28, 20231 yr It's a different link to the one that was originally posted so if you were clicking the one Wardy quoted it still won't work. The other link should do. (or maybe Callum blocked you xo)

November 28, 20231 yr I’ve only just realised that Skall was a DNQ :( Rolloland too but I wasn’t expecting that one to make it. It was nice to hear something different in the contest though, it very much reminded me of some of the music my dad used to play when I was a toddler
November 28, 20231 yr Awe I knew Catnapp was going to be borderline Q/DNQ after struggling during confirmation  Not upset at all especially knowing it was 6 points away from Q and not a tie or 1 point away!!! Good luck to everyone who qualified!!!
November 28, 20231 yr What a bad end to the year for Aesthetica! This pussy does NOT have power according to y'all! Will come back stronger in the new year!

November 28, 20231 yr It's only just dawned on me that this is the first year of competing where I've qualified in all 10 contests! That's a cool thing to tick off over 8 years in *.*

November 28, 20231 yr Oh no I thought BJSC would EAT UP this entry! Losing 3 of my top 4 on top of it, worst semi results of all time
November 28, 20231 yr Thanks for the fab hosting callum! Thanks semi 1 voters for putting Cockney Rebel through, chief cheerleader Bre especially  That was a nice surprise to end the BJSC year on, it's not just me loving an obscure half-century-old oddity, I find out :cheer: Sorry to lose these from our votes: 12 points: Q 10 points: POPHub • HYRA & Michael Medrano - AIR U BREATHE 8 points: Q 7 points: Q 6 points: Niceland • Tom Read - Dead Things To Life 5 points: Q 4 points: Q 3 points: Q 2 points: Mulgracia • Knox Hill - The Pot & The Kettle 1 points: Q Pophub prob just got pipped from the final, but other 2 deserved better than bottom rungs, doh!
November 28, 20231 yr Oh no I thought BJSC would EAT UP this entry! Losing 3 of my top 4 on top of it, worst semi results of all time it was a sensory experience haha, very unusual entry. it was like ASMR!
November 28, 20231 yr Oh damn, I didn't enter this because I thought it would qualify, I just entered it because I really liked it- happy that enough of you liked it too! BRING BACK DISCORD LISTENTHROUGHSIf I ever find an evening I can do for a listenthrough I'll bring it back again. x
November 29, 20231 yr Scotland 2 didn't make my votes this time around but I thought it'd be more popular than that. Wholune on the other hand, I really enjoyed despite never watching Eastenders  Sad it didn't get through! I was actually confident in my entry for a change but still a relief to see a confirmed Q, thanks to whoever included MisterWives in their votes!
November 29, 20231 yr Thanks Callum, solid job on the hosting. I lost Summericia, East Rukahavian and Greenfroze from my vote this month. Thanks to those who pointed deary, a somewhat overlooked single from earlier this year that I picked up on after they recently supported Slowdive. It kinda reminds me of the trip-hop/dream pop adjacent movement that followed the pioneering artists of Portishead/Massive Attack/Mazzy Star in the mid 1990s, def the same sort of vibe and melancholia that I get from it.
November 30, 20231 yr Oop sorry a bit later than advertised but getting the Q streak list up to date :magic: Also edited the update for the previous contest which I didn't post at the time into this post, highlights from it: Extending current national records: Hendinia, Cumulonimbia, Summericia Exceeding previous national record matched last month: Beaverdonia Matching previous national record: Altyr Muunilinst (previously achieved in BJSCs 114-135), Jadakissnia (previously achieved in BJSCs 114-127), Wholune (previously achieved in BJSCs 138-141), Neliönoir (previously achieved in BJSCs 155-156), Abeltesfayeton (previously achieved in BJSC 157) note: including broken runs Beaverdonia and Wholune both have longer runs (Beaverdonia 6 in a row in BJSCs 76-77 & 79-82, Wholune 5 in a row in BJSCs 138-141 & 143) ~ Qualification streak update (underlined nations have matched or beaten their longest streak to date, streaks that are longer when counting nonconsecutive participations ('broken streaks') are in italics where applicable): 01 40 Hendinia (broken streak: 45) 02 29 Cor Lupus 03 26 Cumulonimbia 04 23 Altyr Muunilinst 05 15 Jadakissnia 06 8 Kathaldazia 07 7 Quintessa 08 6 Beaverdonia 09 5 Aeroche 09 5 Cadelicia (broken streak: 7) 09 5 Ramrynia (broken streak: 8) 12 4 Fljótavík 12 4 Kluminican Republic 12 4 Pestolia 12 4 Terra Avium 16 3 Bronzil 16 3 FARC 16 3 FSR Rontvia 16 3 Harmonica 16 3 Lookylion 16 3 Neliönoir 16 3 République d'Áskorza 16 3 Taahino (broken streak: 4) 16 3 Utopia 25 2 Abeltesfayeton 25 2 Danæviia 25 2 Séyetana 25 2 The Spodic Empire 25 2 Thelonia 30 1 Aelandor 30 1 Conoria 30 1 Eastovka 30 1 Jupiterdonia 30 1 Land of DW 30 1 Lotunia 30 1 Numayania 30 1 Persephonia 30 1 Singerpurear 30 1 Sovarasma 30 1 Ultraviolenceland 30 1 Yehesi (broken streak: 4) 30 1 Zanmatony xx (24) Summericia xx (8) Bøtanikkä xx (6) Dobago xx (5) Skall xx (4) Wholune xx (3) New Lexico xx (2) Sandénia * xx (1) Oslol * xx (1) POPHub xx (1) Republic of Adonia xx (1) Rolloland xx (1) Suedeonia * xx (1) Tartford * did not enter this contest so may resume a broken streak in the future Hendinia further extend their record, becoming the second country ever to reach 40 finals in a row and only 2 away from matching FSR Rontvia's all time record in consecutive contests (while of course also further extending their own all time record for most entries in a row qualifying without requiring consecutive contests). Cumulonimbia also further expand their current record although we do lose Summericia who have fallen at the same hurdle as I did earlier in the year of 24 in a row (Qärenfanghoney also achieved a personal best of 24 in a row, making a three way tie for the 8th longest among all nations, so a little unfortunate for Summericia that their run didn't even get to placing them in the top 3 on this list). Beaverdonia also extend their current consecutive record which now matches their previous run of 6 qualifiers in a row in non-consecutive contests, so if they can get one more it will be the first time 7 of their entries have qualified in a row. After both matching their previous records in the last contest, Altyr Muunilinst and Jadakissnia both take a step further to reach new highs (interesting to note that their previous records both started in BJSC 114 :magic:), as do Neliönoir making it to 3 in a row for the first time and Abeltesfayeton who now have their first proper streak going. Bronzil make it to 3 in a row again to match their previous record set in BJSCs 154-156, and Conoria finally get another qualifier after previously only qualifying with their debut entry in BJSC 151, enduring 6 DNQs in the mean time. As well as Summericia we also see the end of streaks from Bøtanikkä and Dobago who had been in the top 10 of this list last month. Beaverdonia, Aeroche, Cadelicia and Ramrynia now climb into the top 10 (which now has 11 countries in it due to a 3 way tie for 9th).
November 30, 20231 yr Hooray! Relieved to have made it to four years of qualifying, whether I make it to the consecutive record or not! This year has been one of my favourites for consistently sending entries I absolutely love, as shown by all my entries making my Spotify wrapped this year (bar Cazzi, but she’s already top 50 on last.fm so would definitely have made it if Spotify ran a bit further). Only five made it through the whole year! Especially impressive for Doctor Blind and Jade, as I think it can be SLIGHTLY easier to succeed with pop (or at least qualify anyway) but both have sent some daring entries and still kept their tally ticking over nicely.
