It’s not a rumour, just one troll spouting nonsense who is continuously let run amok by the moderators.

It *is* a rumour, you can google it to see a few (probably baseless) articles about it, but it's clearly been debunked. Any issues with posts, please report them rather than bitching on the main forum.

Let's leave the Last Easter stuff now pls cause it's very boring and circular (and it was as soon as it started).

As for mids today, we might get something from Music Week if we're lucky but no guarantee. Let's hope!

There is 1 article from a random source (a wordpress website which anyone can create is a source???). Perhaps if you’re going to be a moderator you could perhaps, I dunno, please do your job, so these threads are readable again? Thanks. Just tired of the nonsense that’s let run amok here.

In fairness, I have actually done this more than once recently - nothing was done and it's still going on.

I didn't say it was likely to be accurate, I just said it is something of a rumour.

Like I said, click the report button if you have an issue. I've asked him to stop and if anything more comes of it, the mods and I will deal with it. No need for the rudeness towards me and the team.

We've deleted *many* of his posts from reports in this section of the forum. Not every post requires it but let's not distort the narrative and say nothing was done. If it continues now I've asked for it to stop then further action can be taken.

Do people still listen to Christmas songs between 26 and 31 December?

It’s still Christmas until January 6th so listening to Christmas music is fair game.

Christmas Day is unsurprisingly the peak, then each day afterwards is a significant decline for the Christmas songs. They're usually out of the Spotify top 200 by 31st December I believe.

Same here, it's why I barely post anymore.and I'm sure others too. It's really weird how he's allowed to get away with so much, no other forum would put up with it.

In 2025, it will be the first time since 2010 where the chart week ends on Christmas Day. It will be interesting to see the Thursday Christmas Day streams for that year as the Thursday streams seem to get lost

I do but on a much lower level from previous days.

Aah pretenders #41 in the update I hope 2000 miles can go top 40 one of my fave Xmas songs

And wham are still at 1. Sam 2 Mariah 3 ed x Elton 4 Brenda 5 and pogues 6

Stick season down to 25 and only that plus Jack in top 40 as non Xmas sonfs. Greedy down to

48

I tend to listen to Xmas songs until New Year then I am done, anything after that is too depressing for me.
If Pretenders is 41 now it’ll likely be 41-45 on Friday unfort!

Cher has another entry in the Top 100 with What Christmas Means to Me (feat. Stevie Wonder) at #87.

DJPACS is up to #18. :cheer:

It’s odd that the OCC haven’t credited Stevie Wonder
