March 2, 20241 yr Great point! I knew there was a recent case where this had happened. However, wasn’t this slightly different because it had been requested rather than being automatic? That's right, but I don't see any reason why the same thing couldn't happen with an automatic reset.
March 2, 20241 yr What a shame that 3 excellent songs - 'Houdini', 'Never Leave Me' and 'Leavemealone' are all going to ACR whilst 'Cruel Summer' is STILL top 10! Those 3 brilliant songs haven't really been in top ten lately so cannot see the context.
March 3, 20241 yr Cruel Summer will presumably get another boost in a few weeks when The Eras Tour is added to Disney+!
March 8, 20241 yr Author SCR 21 Savage ~ Redrum Becky Hill and Sonny Fodera ~ Never Be Alone Benson Boone ~ Beautiful Things Dylan Gossett ~ Coal Ella Henderson ~ Alibi (feat. Rudimental) Michael Marcagi ~ Scared To Start Paul Russell ~ Lil Boo Thang Pinkfong ~ Baby Shark  Raye ~ Escapism (feat. 070 Shake) Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners ~ Evergreen The Last Dinner Party ~ Nothing Matters [my guess, its sales declined but it had vinyl last week] Travis Scott ~ Fein (feat. Playboi Carti) Travis Scott ~ My Eyes DCL-1 Campbell and Alcemist ~ Would You (Go To Bed With Me?) Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto, Dido and W&W ~ Thank You (Not So Bad) Giggs ~ Incredible Sauce (feat. Jennie and Lily Rose Depp) DCL-2 Ariana Grande ~ Yes, and? [album timed nicely to stop this going ACR then] Bob Marley and the Wailers ~ Could You Be Loved? Bob Marley and the Wailers ~ Three Little Birds Chris Brown ~ Angel Numbers / Ten Toes D-Block Europe ~ Eagle (feat. Noizy) Taylor Swift ~ Cruel Summer [praying that this'll be it by this time next week otherwise the Disney release of Eras Tour will keep it afloat for yet another month] YG Marley ~ Praise Jah In The Moonlight DCL-3 Mason vs. Princess Superstar ~ Perfect (Exceeder) Nathan Evans ~ Heather On The Hill Tate McRae ~ Exes The Lumineers ~ Ophelia Tracy Chapman ~ Fast Car Zara Larsson and David Guetta ~ On My Love all other charting songs not listed are either on ACR or have fewer than 7 charting weeks
March 8, 20241 yr If Taylor goes DCL-3 next week, then it won’t have a hard ACR fall thanks to the eras tour
March 11, 20241 yr 'exes' still top 30 so not on ACR this week! By my best guess, 'exes' is on DCL-2. However it could also be on zero weeks of decline as its Spotify numbers increased very marginally last week.
March 15, 20241 yr Don’t Thursday streams tend to get lost? If so, it could affect Cruel Summer’s streams for yesterday seeing as the eras tour was added a day early to Disney plus instead of today
March 15, 20241 yr It got added at 1am uk time I did wonder why it was on there so early. Normally, they add them around 5am-9am on the day of release

Bob Marley and the Wailers ~ Three Little Birds Chris Brown ~ Angel Numbers / Ten Toes [about damn time] Taylor Swift ~ Cruel Summer [about damn time] YG Marley ~ Praise Jah In The Moonlight [not a good week to have the surname Marley is it] all other charting songs not listed are either on ACR or have fewer than 7 charting weeks
March 15, 20241 yr Whatever going to ACR at the earliest possible point would be some justice. Still confused as to why Baby Shark got a reset just before Christmas tbh, at least its not looking like troubling the top 40. Are you certain that exes is back to SCR?
March 15, 20241 yr Author I fear the only way to stop Baby Shark is to discount all streams from YouTube - the song has spent 39 weeks at #1 on video streaming :drama: alternatively the OCC could just manually boot it back to ACR for the same bullshit reason they put it back on SCR in the first place, whatever that bullshit reason may have been yes, MW reported Exes as having a sales increase this week
March 15, 20241 yr As much as 'Cruel Summer' is fab. It's been very overdue to go now. Will probably still be low top 40 next week anyway! Not mad at 'exes' hanging around a bit longer though!
March 15, 20241 yr Baby Shark supremacy What's with 'Back On 74' getting a reset this week but not last week? It didn't increase streams by 25% again did it? I guess good that it's reset now because it certainly should have been by the OCC's written rules (albeit a week earlier) but I really don't like how jank the system seems to be for something that should surely be really easy to automate. 'exes' really starting to build a 2016 esque chart run, never really properly blowing up but holding up really well and dodging ACR enough times to build up a constent lengthy chart run.
March 15, 20241 yr If we have to put up with Mr Brightside, Someone You Love and Riptide never leaving the top 100 ever again then I can fully embrace Baby Shark doing the same.
March 16, 20241 yr I was going to ask the same question about Jungle. I was shocked to not see them getting reset last week, and as a result returning to the top 40. It was one of two clear ‘winners’ from the Brits looking at iTunes and Spotify (the other being RAYE). How on earth has it been reset this week, when it is probably in decline? OCC taking a nap?
