A post in the 1987 Gallup thread by Bjork made me think this thread might be a good idea in here.

How many self titled chart hits have there been? Can’t imagine there’s been too many - the one in the thread that inspired this was ‘Living in a Box’

Is this the only one that there is?

I made quite an exhaustive list of these for a project a while ago, and apart from those already mentioned above, there's:

Love City Groove (1995, #7)

Jilted John (1978, #4)

Liberation (1992, #28)

The Age Of Love (1997, #17)

The Colourfield (1984, #43)

Bel Amour (2001, #23)

Hi Tension (1978, #13)

21st Century Girls (1999, #16)

I'd be very surprised/impressed if anyone can find any more!

Killer Queen by Queen

There's loads more if we include approximate matches (e.g. Theme From The Monkees, Stray Cat Strut) but I thought we were looking for songs which exactly match the artist name!

Tin Machine - Tin Machine (#48 in 1989)

Black And White Army - Black And White Army (#26 in 1998)

Breakbeat Era - Breakbeat Era ('38 in 1998)

Snoop Dogg - Snoop Dogg (#13 in 2001)

Cleopatra - Cleopatra's Theme
