Kraftwerk - Computer Love

I figured that this is hopefully close enough to computing/computer science! Kraftwerk's discography is certainly not lacking in 'computer' songs

April 17th – A song you like with the same title as a UK #1 single

challenged by dandy*

Today is certainly going to be a challenging one, thanks entirely to dandy* suggesting we should think of UK #1 singles which… weren’t UK #1 singles, but in fact share the same title as one. So this is going to require some imagination as well as checking resources such as Polyhex and The OCC website to see what fits the challenge. It’s going to be a tough one, but dandy* never takes the easy option! Let’s get our thinking caps on…

April 17th – A song you like with the same title as a UK #1 single

Way better than the S Club 7 song of the same name

Edited by TheSnake

Day 17 Alice Merton - Vertigo

Google told me U2 had a No1 in 2004 by the same title, it was there for a week. There's probs loads of the one word title ones that would fit this but I got bored scrolling beyond the first few years of the 00s to find more :kink:

April 17th – A song you like with the same title as a UK #1 single

Yeah, it's a cover but it trounces Jamie Lenman's version if you ask me.

Title shared with Pussycat's cheesy 70s number

Edited by Severin

I thought Olivia went number one with that  but I'm glad Beyonce did! :cheeseblock:

Before Clean Bandit took a song of the same name to #1: Iyaz - Solo

April 17th - A song you like with the same title as a UK #1 single:

Good challenge! I actually came up with quite a few good ones and couldn't decide which one to go with, but for the sake of giving my selection some variety, let's go with this criminally under-performing drum and bass classic from Sigma which of course shares its name with Shakespear's Sister's gem of a #1 which cropped up earlier in this thread.
