April 16, 20241 yr ^that was the one thing we knew this week 1000% sure even before the week started ;)
April 16, 20241 yr Dua only needs a #7 peak to complete a Top 10 clean sweep, so she's on course for that! What peaked at #10?
April 16, 20241 yr I had to look it up myself but it was No Lie with Sean Paul! Oh a pre-New Rules hit. I didn’t realise she’s got nearly every top 10 peak :o
April 16, 20241 yr I might just be insanely out of touch but I’ve never heard this Hozier song anywhere whereas I felt Take Me To Church was inescapable, even though I was never a fan. It doesn’t seem to have the same ubiquity

It doesn’t seem to have the same ubiquity Give it a few weeks or so and it'll probably reach that level of ubiquity.
April 16, 20241 yr I have heard people on Facebook saying they have received a dispatch email for their perrie cds today. Edited April 16, 20241 yr by kimberley88
April 16, 20241 yr I have heard people on Facebook saying they have received a dispatch email for their perrie cds today. If that’s the case I think she’s guaranteed top 10, not sure where the music video is
April 16, 20241 yr I have heard people on Facebook saying they have received a dispatch email for their perrie cds today. Looks like they are being shipped - plus the release date on her website for the physicals says ‘April 12th’ - previously there was no release date listed. Hopefully it has some legs after week 1 as they are throwing the physicals out and have done an iTunes reduction.
April 16, 20241 yr I have heard people on Facebook saying they have received a dispatch email for their perrie cds today.I’m still waiting for my dispatch email :drama:
April 16, 20241 yr Thank God, Swift and Hozier are there. Teddy Swim won't have the number #01 slot in UK even if Benson and Beyoncé are gonna have the ACR effect. I don't understand why this song is still so high though.
April 17, 20241 yr Thank God, Swift and Hozier are there. Teddy Swim won't have the number #01 slot in UK even if Benson and Beyoncé are gonna have the ACR effect. I don't understand why this song is still so high though. You and the rest of us!
April 17, 20241 yr There's absolutely no threat of Teddy Swims getting to #1 now. Him continuing to clog up the top 10 for weeks and weeks to come can't be so easily dismissed unfortunately.
April 17, 20241 yr so Perrie's label are sending out CD singles this week but not vinyls, cassettes or bundles?
April 17, 20241 yr id imagine they might see tonights mids and see if its worth sending rhem all this week if they have a shot at top 3/5 or if its better to save some for a bit more longevity in future weeks to stop it collapsing too fast - bit like the beatles track, they kept some physicals for other weeks so it had more of a gentle descent from #1 than it wouldve if they used them all in week 1

April 17, 20241 yr Well it's at least 17 weeks (Bryan Adams + U2's one week) but I imagine there are longer stretches that someone will identify!
April 17, 20241 yr I might just be insanely out of touch but I’ve never heard this Hozier song anywhere whereas I felt Take Me To Church was inescapable, even though I was never a fan. It doesn’t seem to have the same ubiquity Worth considering that at this moment, it's not even one of his 10 most streamed songs of all time on Spotify. I'm sure it'll eventually pass 2 billion and then some, but at present, not even 10% of the way there.
